Answer: IDK,, Not enough to weight
Q:

Answer: The Carbon handle are paired with EVA knobs. Hope it could help you.
Q:
Does this reel have an aluminum frame?
Answer: The reel is aluminum, carbon fiber and plastic as far as the frame I cannot find a description specific to that I can tell you that this reel is worth every penny!
Q:
Can i use this reel for saltwater fishing? what would happen if i dropped it in saltwater. i wade fish a lot and it’s a risk of falling in the water.
Answer: It's pity that Spark Pro reel could not be for saltwater fishing. But we have another baitcasting reel Chao XS which would be better for saltwater fishing, would you like to try this reel?https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZTB59DV?ref=myi_title_dp&th=1
Q:
Puede resistir línea de 65lb?
Q:
Will this reel cast 4lb line and 1.5gram baits?
Answer: I think it can. I was able to cast Arkie Twist Tail jigs about 15-18 yards. This is with 10lb test braid and using a medium heavy rod. If your intent is to use a true bfs or ultra light rod I think you will be able to get better distance. I hope this helps...tight lines!
Answer: Yes this reel is awesome and can cast anything I believe with any line
Answer: I would say so. This is the best light lure and medium heavy lure baitcaster on the market
Answer: Sure, it could
Q:
can higher capacity spools be purchased seperately for these reels?
Answer: To this date there is not.The only spare spools provided by Piscifun is one for the Torrent, which is too big and a BFS spool for the Phantom that has a centrifugal brake system.
Answer: Currently there is no higher capacity available
Answer: You wouldn’t want to. It is built for exactly what it does.
Q:
Will this reel be able to handle a week long trip to Brazil to fish for large peacock bass?
Answer: I have never fished for peacock bass, but I don't think this reel can hold enough heavy line and it was not really designed to cast big lures. It's better suited for lighter lures and small line.
Answer: Yes absolutely. Just make and oil the reel when you receive it. I’ve got 4 and a couple Sparks and I’ve used them all heavily since they came out on the market last year. They can handle big bass with ease.
Answer: Sure, it could be use to fish for large peacock bass
Q:
What is the line capacity for this reel?
Answer: Mono Capacity 7lb/109yds
Answer: The box says it can hold 109 yds. of 7 lb. test mono or 145 yds. of 10 lb. test braid.
Q:
What would be a nice rod for this?
Answer: I’ve paired mine (6:8:1 ratio)with a 6th Sense Milliken MFer 7ft medium heavy rod. Excels for chatterbaits, hair jigs, Texas rigs, small cranks, and the occasional upscaled Neko rig. Another slightly cheaper rod option is the Piscifun Serpent 7ft medium heavy which will do the same thing. The 6th sense rod is around $120 and the Piscifun 1 piece is around $90. I believe Piscifun makes a 2 piece rod at $70. All work really well with the more expensive rods having slightly better action and sensitivity.
Answer: My reel is on a medium heavy Wright & McGill Trait Lady Pro Advantage rod (LOL!!!), but this reel has a shallow spool. For this reason it can work on a BFS style rod (light to ultra light) but a M, MH will do just fine if you want skip jigs and other lures.
Answer: 7 foot mh or m rod with fast tip.
Answer: I just got an Ugly Stik G2X, ladies. Works perfect and it looks good too! Its pink!! Lol
Q:
Is this a bfs reel? it looks like it has a shallow spool for throwing super light finesse baits like a ned rig.
Answer: Yes it is
Q:
What is the lb/yards on these, both mono and braid
Answer: Hello, it holds 109 yds. of 7lb test mono or 145 yds. of 10 lb test braid. I'm currently using 10 lb braid. It works great for my techniques. Hope this helps!
Answer: Mono : 7lb/109yds Braid : 10lb/145yds
Answer: 12lb mono and around 160 yards... don’t use braid...
Q:
what is the spark pro reel weight?
Answer: It's weight is 7.0oz /198g.
Answer: It weighs in at 7 oz.
Answer: 7 ounces
Q:
What does this size reel compare to in let's say Diawa, Shimano,Abu, etc?
Answer: In my opinion it seems to be a slight bit larger than my Shimano SLX, but not much.
Q:
where is it made ?
Answer: The same place that 95%of All fishing reels are made,, China..
Answer: It's made in China, but it is a quality product.
Answer: China why

Answer: No
Q:
Does this have centrifugal and magnetic brakes?
Answer: No just magnetic brakes
Answer: There’s no indication that there’s a centrifugal brake in any description online or on the packaging so I have assume no but I don’t know for sure. You can always contact Piscifun Facebook is a good way they are usually quick to answer any questions.
Answer: Just magnetic
Q:
Does this reel have a bait clicker?
Answer: No, it’s definitely more of a casting reel than a trolling one.
Answer: No it does not have a bait clicker.
Answer: No it does not
Answer: No
Answer: No
Q:
What is line capacity for 40lb braid? And would you recommend putting heavier than 10lb braid on it?
Answer: I am not an avid Baitcaster reel user, just learning..I am using the Spark Pro a little different than most..I have set the combo up for the smaller Catfish that I target for consumption, (3-8lb), with the potential to handle a much bigger fish. There is a 50/50 chance a 20+lb will hit this setup.. I initially spooled it up with 20lb braid but it is so thin, that with my inexperience with Baitcaster reel, I had a RealReel problem..I now have it spooled with 8strand SeaKnight in 40lb and it is working great.I figured that if the reel has a 16.5lb drag it should be fine. With 40lb,, I have about 80yrd.
Answer: The box recommends: Braid 10lb/145yds I don’t fish braid myself I spooled my Spark Pro with 10lb Berkley Trilene “Big Game” and have been pulling pigs out of grass since I got the reel at the beginning of June
Q:
How can i purchase a deeper spool, can you send it and charge my card ??
Answer: Hello, if you want to purchase a deeper spool, please contact us.
Q:
Did ask if higher capacity spools were available? or for an opinion of what i wanted? i have to stand 40 yards from where i cast out. no line lef.
Answer: Currentlt we have not higher capacity spool.
Q:
What is the weight of the spool?
Answer: The weight of the spool is about 16g/0.6oz
Answer: Hmmm, pretty sure the *written specs* shows that info, idk. If I had to guess/compare,,about as heavy as a 300yrdspool of 40lbbraid feels in your hand. Feels like nothing.
Q:
What's the difference between the spark pro and regular spark??
Answer: The spark reel is 6.6:1 and the Spark Pro is 8.1:1
Answer: Different paint scheme, more bearings the spark pro has, carbon handle, thick eva knobs the spark pro is way smoother than the spark the spark is smooth too though can't go wrong

Product reviews of Piscifun Spark Pro Baitcasting Reel - Low Profile Baitcaster Fishing Reel, Super Compact 16.5 LB Carbon Fiber Drag, 11 + 1 Shielded Ball Bearings Magnetic Brake System
Patricia Feeback : Very smooth
Great reel, I cant find anything wrong with it. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I haven't had it very long.
Joseph C : Great caster for beginners
Just started using bait casters and this is my first one! It’s super easy to use you just have to play with the settings and adjust them depending on conditions.
Scott D. : Great value in small (light) package
I'm amazed how low-profile and light weight this reel is. I wanted to try a bait finesse system and I paired this reel with a St. Croix panfish series rod. I've only tried casting with 1/8 oz bait and it chucks it. Looking forward to using this for spring trout. Reel is super affordable and consider using it on a ML bass/walleye setup.
TW83 : Smooth movement
Love this reel. Smooth movement and its purple.
Thomas pegoda : Amazing
Great reel. Super smooth and looks great. I put 20lb braid on it and greased all the metal surfaces(most were already greased)

Al 05 : COOL
I had not purchased any fishing equipment for years and man, how equipment has changed! I have not used it yet but first impressions it far exceeds my expectations. Will know how great a reel is when I hit the river with my grandson. Update will follow later........

Kohl : it’s light
it’s light and great for pitching
Boll Weevil : Finesse!
This is my 5th Piscifun reel. When I saw that it was a finesse reel I saw where I could make good use of it. I was considering a spinning reel to cast small grubs and spinners when this new one caught my eyes. I decided to buy it and I am not disappointed! Another reviewer suggested using 10lb. braid, I had never used braid before but the shallow spool convinced me that I should and it works great! I also have a finesse spool for the Phanthom model. I'll try braid on it too! Tight lines y'all!
jennifer : Great for women and first time users!!
I am new to using baitcaster reels, my husband swears by them. Very easy to learn, be light weight, smooth, very little backlash. Love the color!! Recommend for first time users and pros. My husband steals it from me alot! Lol
Amazon Customer : Fits rod perfect
As smooth as presented. Finish seems nice .
G3 TACO : Dont buy, save yourself a headache
Do not buy this companies products. I don't care if you've seen it on Tik Tok just don't. Their customer service is non existent. Their products are only one step above the cheap Chinese plastic reels. And yes of course these are made in China out of cheap materials. No I don't hate China, I actually really love some products from there however not this one.
Heres where it began, the second trip out the button or switch as they call it would not return upward after starting to reel in line. I had to manually push it back up. I was waiting for the St. Croix rod to come in stock so it was past the return window for Amazon. So I contacted Piscifun, (this has a stated 1 year warranty on the website) they first wanted a video. Sure, I sent them two of it acting up. Then my Amazon order info, sure I sent them screen shots. Then they reply this:
Sorry for the trouble, we would do our best to solve the problem for you. We got feedback from the technical department. The problem that the switch does not rebound automatically could be solved by replacing parts #204 #205 #208(please see the attachment).
Currently there is no any parts separately available in Amazon warehouse, we could send to you from our factory, which would be delivered within 20-25 days.
Ok so that's not going to work, I have fished for awhile but I'm not taking this thing apart, the break down they send me has no instructions and really tiny pieces in the parts explosion diagram. So I ask if I can get a replacement and return this one. Well since they are based in China they wanted me to pay shipping. Ok so there's none in the US? I'm pretty sure I just bought one here and received it in 2 days, well their shipping seemed like a guess, so I asked them for an exact shipping cost with it weighed and I got this reply:
Sorry to trouble you, we would send you a new wheel, you do not need to replace the accessories yourself, and you do not need to return the wheel.
$20 is the price after the new reel is discounted, not the price of the shipping fee. I am very sorry for the error in my language.
We would pay the cost of shipping fees and you just need pay the reel fee$20.
So now I'm paying $20 for a discounted reel (which they keep replying wheel, you would think being the product they make they would know it's reel). I have so far a total of 17 emails between me and this company. I finally contacted Amazon and relayed this info to them. Amazon immediately resolved the issue
This company will not honor its 1 year warranty and will make it almost impossible for you to get your item repaired or replaced. I quit responding to their emails after the seventeenth one.
Joy Andrews : Works alright
This works alright but not my favorite. It would be good for someone fishing that isn’t too serious and doesn’t want to really spend money but wants to try it out. It adjusts and goes on well. It doesn’t bird nest a ton but it does more than my others of better quality. I let our visitors unlawfully this because I don’t have time to mess with it when I’m fishing.
Welborn23 : Amazing!
This was my first non-combo baitcasting reel and I love it! It is smooth and precise. Most the time you have to pick between looks or quality.. I say you get both with the Spark Pro!
Amazon Customer : Nice reel
Haven't used it yet. Looks and feels good. I have other ones that I like. Good for the money
Jeff Wiley : Great reel for the money.
Finish on reel is great. Cast is smooth and is very fast on the retrieve. I have never bought a Piscifun product but I am happy with it!
Fishingski : Honest opinion on spark pro
I bought this reel for my finesse setup to throw shakey heads and smaller swimbaits etc. glad I purchased this one. Prob the smoothest reel I’ve thrown yet. Great bearings. You can throw this thing a mile. It’s a smaller profile so fits in the palm great and doesn’t cramp your hand after fishing with a bulky profile reel all day. It has a low profile spoil so you don’t waste so much line which is great. I had 12lb flouro and could cast as far as I wanted and still never ran out of line. This reel with throw 1/8th oz with ease and most likely lighter with ease as well. I love the color. The only thing I will change about the rod is the grips on the handle. I like flat sided grips. Nothing wrong with the rounded grips, just more a comfort/personal preference.
But overall, what a great buy. I have 10 Piscifun reels, I have phantom x’s, torrents and now spark pro. Piscifun has never disappointed me. I also have 4-5 Piscifun rods and they are great rods for the price. Both the torrent/serpent series rods are well worth the money.
I have been fishing Piscifun reels and rods for the last 3 years and never once had a problem out of any of them. Tournament fishing 3 times a month and multiple days of fishing in between those tourneys, they have never failed me...
Piscifun, you killed it with this reel. I’ll be back for more spark pros.
Isaac Engle : Good but better reels available at this price range
I am an avid fan of Piscifun and own quite a few of their products from their serpent and elite rods to the phantom and alijos reels. I’ve tried other Chinese knock offs and most well known companies at various price points. One thing that I have enjoyed about Piscifun is that they offer a quality unique product at a lower price point than other manufacturers and their models often have more features. The Spark Pro is a good reel but here is why I think there are better options in this price range:
At $70 they are now competing with companies like Lews, Daiwa, etc. The reel performs well but doesn’t perform mechanically up to par as other brands in the same range. For the cost you are purchasing this reel for the paint scheme, carbon fiber handle, and EVA knobs. I suppose if matching rod colors or appearance is important than its worth the price tag. I tend to swing toward more solid reels. Any of the current Lews speed spools in this price range out perform the spark mechanically in my humble opinion. I did like that the spark was well oiled when I received it, that seems to be a rarity these days.
I also noticed typos on mine regarding the line capacity. The L in pounds appears to be a number 1. doesn’t affect the performance but it shows the lack of quality control on some of these reels.
Overall: If you are looking for a reel with a fancy paint scheme, carbon fiber handle, and foam knobs this is for you. Just don’t trust the incorrectly printed line capacity on the chassis! if you want a more mechanically sound reel I would suggest spending your hard earned $$$ elsewhere. There are many better options in this price class from more established manufacturers and from Piscifun as well. Function over finish for me.
4Z ICE : Rapid fire real.
This is one of the best BFFs type reels I’ve ever use shallow school cast 6 pound test line extremely well a little fast for may small type crank baits. They do sell slower reels .
Thomas pegoda : Amazing

Joe m : Nice reel for the money
Delivered faster than expected.Nice reel for the money.3rd Piscifun reel for me.
clinton-dale bevers : I. Love. My. Spark. Pro.
I thought the spark was nice. The pro is lighter and smoother.
Maybe not worth double the price but with some discounts and a gift card. Man. What a great reel.
Angel : Great
Great for the price
Michelle Ross : THIS REEL BREAKS AND THE COMPANY SEEMS TO CARELESS
Got this reel right when it was released. It broke after light use over about 2.5 weeks. After several dealings with customer service it seems it is just a waste of time and money. I won't ever buy Piscifun reels again, go with a bit more expensive reel like Shimano.
Anthony Klepic : Can’t spool enough line needed for bass fishing.
Casts and retrieves BEAUTIFULLY! BUT the spool is so large if you put 12 lb fluorocarbon on it you can only get about 70 yards. I’d feel better with 100. Need to be able to spool more line than that. This could be a 5 star reel but due to this issue I can only give it two. Maybe it will do for just flipping and pitching.
Andrew Craft : Scuffed on arrival.
Reel was delivered today and it is either not brand new or was dropped pretty bad at the factory.
Christopher Bushman : Change on review.up to 3 star
I'll start first by appearance-the paint on mine looks sloppy and smeared, also the logo does as well.
The second is spool size-putting a .24mm mono line on this i was only able to put on 80yrds which is a far cry from the claimed 109yrds.
The third which is the feel of the adjustments-i bought a 45 dollar Abu García combo from Walmart and it feels better than the drag and brake on this one.
The fourth is casting-is does cast fairly well easy to control and action does feel pretty smooth, definitely like that about this reel.
The fifth is over function, sits low to the rod It retrieves line smoothly, the line does tend to keep spooling up more on the right side of the spool, thats with both sizes of line ive tried on it.
Over all its in that price bracket that I would just spend another 50 bucks and get something a bit heavier duty in the same class of reel, next time I buy a bait caster. Also I would classify this as a lite, not a medium in any sense.
The durability after fishing 6 different spots has proven to be great, the line still spools on the right side much more than it should, I have refined it 3 times now hoping that would fix it, but not so far. Still with .21 mm line on now it still only holds just over 95 yards of line.
Kris C. : Nice looking reel but didn’t work for me
This reel is beautiful and very light with good ergonomics.
However, That is where my positives for this reel end.
My reel would not spool no matter what I tried. The spool just would not spin. I’m sure this isn’t very common in Piscifuns reels but at the very least the quality control isn’t great based on the reel I received. I still have it 2 stars because I really like the way it looks. I’m just sad I was unable to use it on my first trip out.
Hollis : Nice real
Nice real, great color and design
Joseph C : Great caster for beginners
Just started using bait casters and this is my first one! It’s super easy to use you just have to play with the settings and adjust them depending on conditions.
Amazon Customer : Works great!
I like Piscifun as there are a cheap option to get into the hobby of fishing. The spark pro arrived fast and I put it to work in no time. The case is plastic, but so what. It looks cool and functioned very well. You can cast this think a mile and it won’t back lash if you have it setup right. It’s very slim and comfortable to hold while fishing. It’s not bulky like my other bait casters. I do have a torrent made my Piscifun and love that one too. I just can’t justify spending over $100 on a reel, so Piscifun allows me to have a good reel at a hell of a price!
Charlee : Beautiful and made well
I got this fishing reel for my husband. He really likes it. It's lightweight, really smooth and casts easily. It's a really beautiful color that changes when you move it in the sunlight. Granted, that isn't really important but I thought I'd mention it anyway. It's made really well and has a good drag system. He really can't find anything negative to say about it. I am thinking about getting one for myself now.
juan acevedo : Buy it.
Super light weight, compact and smooth. Great for the price. Hasn't let me down yet. It's been spooled with 30lb braid but recently respooled with 15lb mono. Handles both lines really well after you set up your breaks. Overall I'm really happy with it.
Rob : I like it so far
My initial thoughts on this reel is that it's small and light fits great in my palm, has a very shallow spool should cast well, feels smooth as any other reels at this price point, ok maybe better than some $100 reels (cough cough Abu Garcia Revo X). The only reason i didn't give it 5 stars is it's not black. Another thing is its frame is some type of polymer so it makes me question it's rigidity and durability over time.
J-Rod : Sent me a used unit
Came through looking used! Scratches and chips all over. I want to like this brand but they always disappoint. Haven’t gotten a keeper yet.
ming : Looks good
Haven't used it yet but it matches my custom rod perfecty...if it's anything like their phantom reel. I won't be disappointed.
Anthony Klepic : Can’t spool enough line needed for bass fishing.

Anthony : It cast great light weight
It cast great light weight
D'angela Merrell : Great initial quality
Have not put this reel to good use yet but the initial quality is nice at the price point. Also know the spool is relatively small
Joe m : Nice reel for the money
Delivered faster than expected.Nice reel for the money.3rd Piscifun reel for me.
Donny : Excellent buy!!
The reel did great! Casting was a breeze and retrieving the first bass with it was effortless!! Great product for the price!! Awesome looking reel that performed great!! Thanks!!
Holley Thou : Love it but...
I love this reel with a passion. So smooth and easy to cast with very little trouble, unlike my other all metal more expensive kastking baitcaster. The only issue here is the sensitive plastic you can see in the photo. You tend to push on it as you fish for leverage. For me, it's so thin that it broke. Had to crazy glue it together. I believe the cheap plastic does not justify the price. Pascifun need to put some metal or something more durable and strong.
projectbomber : Great reel at a great price point
This is a great reel for the money. It's lightweight and smoother than I expected it to be. It doesn't feel quite as solid as my Shimano SLX, however it didn't cost as much either. The only minor gripe a have is that the spool capacity with thicker line (50lb braid) is quite low. I respooled with 10lb and it's perfect. I've only had it out a couple times but it's landed fish just fine.
Jessica Lucile : Best for my leftie boy.
We are not the most advanced fishing family but after switching out my last one we Atleast know how to change reels!
I got this one for my leftie son to have a more enjoyable fishing experience. He has never loved fishing because he’s had to use his non dominant hand and it feels foreign to him. This was easy to change after already doing one. It casts so nice, I’m jealous and want mine switched again - ha! He’s a much happier Fisher now. He says it’s smooth to cast and reel back. It holds a decent weighted fish with ease. The low price is definitely deceiving! I would’ve thought this one was much more expensive. Let’s see how long it holds up.
Hollis : Nice real
