will it fit an ugly six gx2?

Answer: If fishing creek or small mouth this should be fine. If you're fishing southern lakes you'll run into bigger bass and I would go with the next size up. Reel seems to perform well, drag functions nice. Still waiting to see about longevity of the reel. Line capacity is greater on the bigger reel for 10, 12,14lb or higher test.

Answer: drag acts as it should very smooth, its not holding up to the salt water, i only purchased it because it popped up while i was buying my Okumas, this is the reel i bought along with the fishdrop, ( much better quality, ive caught 400 trout since 12-13-18 and i love these reels) Buy it again

Smooth fresh water reel. Seller said it was rated for saltwater. First trip out screws began rusting. Would be greatly improved if st. St. Steel screws were used. Cheap fix to greatly improve reel. If seller wants to bump up the quality, send me st. Steel screws for the 3 reels I bought and I'll gladly field test the reels in saltwater for them.

Cynthia Swenson : Good bang for the Buck Reel, but I am not sure how long it would last...

Overall its a good budget reel, but as soon as you pull it out of the package, you can it something rubbing/grinding on the inside. So I took the reel apart and lubricated everything, which helped, but it was still rubbing up against something. The drag is alright. If you are fishing for bass it is a little finicky/finesse for setting the drag just right, but it can be done.

In the end, if you are looking to fish once a month, this would be a good reel. If you go out more periodically, make sure you lubricate the reel.

12 ball bearings? No. There's only 4 bearings. Not much protection from elements either. But cheap and looks nice. Will post update. Using for saltwater.
Update. This reel is hard to crank.. small fish will get you tired fast. It works at least for one outing.
