For the price it’s great I just used it for creek fishing in saltwater .. caught 2 monster fluke off the beach ..the key is to lube the reel before first use then after every time you use the reel rinse with fresh water and a few squirts of lube dry with hand towel or rag I use jb 80 it’s great lube for fishing equipment it will last and have no issues

Very smooth action. Becareful with sand binding the bearings. A week later the color started to discolor in the platic. Also the sand in the bearings is an issue. Tried to clean and lubricate but no directions for maintenance as it was made in China. Dont waste you time.

These reels struggle to bare any kind of weight. The whole thing is flexing in every direction as I’m reeling. I’m just waiting for the handle to break off of the part that attached to the rod. I’d rather spend the extra $20-$30 and get a reliable reel. I don’t intend to buy this brand again.

When I ordered the water filters on the 30th of Sept. I had no idea I ordered another fishing real. The real came exactly 3 days after. Never got a confermation that I ordered it by mistake. Now you want me to send it back to China. It will cost undoughtably a lot more than sending it back to your distribution centre in Southern Ontario. Like 2 months . Disappointed especially not even knowing I ordered without a confermation e mail. This reel came from your distribution centre not China. I never ordered it at all. I still have it now what.

What happened to integrity? These are low quality cheap fakes, painted up to fool you into thinking you’re getting a great "reel of a deal"! Just ask yourself why all these reel bodies look identical except for the trim and paint. Question why a reputable reel, will cost 4 to 5 times more! It’s impossible getting any quality with so many companies using the same jobber in China. China Jobber's make their money, making replicas while sourcing the cheapest materials! Amazon permits these despicable companies to sell on their web site.!!
Don't rely on customer reviews.... you'll notice that most reviewers, recently received the reel and have not used it, or made only one fishing trip.! The sellers know, that you will use the product about once and put it away confident you got a deal, and discover on your next trip the handle fails, or the body twists or the gears are stuck or slipping, to late to get your 30-day money back return.
I have spinning reels lasting me 60 years without failure. If you're at all serious, you should never buy these fakes! Also be careful with some high-end companies that are also playing the bottom feeder game! You can easily Identify them by the price and similar designs as the major knock offs.
