Answer: Definitely jigs and yes with 12lb line

can it be used in salt water

Answer: I am using it in salt water. I wash the reel out with FRESHWATER after every usage. It's a decent reel for the money. (Saltwater will eventually destroy any reel).

Awesome reel. Great color scheme. Looks awesome in the sunlight. Super light weight. Reel is smooth and fast. Golf style, round grips are very comfortable. Paired it up with a Vengeance rod and pulled in a 2lb bass on my first trip out. Drag was super strong. Would absolutely recommend!!!

This is the new Sougayilang Kewya Toro bait casting reel. I bought this reel beacuase I’ve never owned a bait caster and wanted to try my hand at it. This reel is made by Sougayilang. I have purchased other products from them, (rod and spinning reel) and have been most satisfied . This reel is made from the same high quality materials as their other reels. It feels solid without feeling heavy. The body is made of high density plastic and the gears, spool and handle are of strong metal design. The handle has a golf club like grip that feels comfortable in my hands. It has a good drag system and a magnetic braking system with variable adjustments. I spooked it with 109 yards of 10 lb. braided line. It can probably hold more. There are line capacity numbers on the reel. I bought the left handed reel but it also comes in right handed. As soon as the weather gets a bit better I will take this out for a real condition test. But it looks and feels like a higher priced reel. Price was very reasonable. I would recommend this to any angler looking to try bait casting.
