How do you re spool

Answer: The frond nose cone cap unscrews from the frame, the old line is then removed. Thread a new line through the nose cone from outside to inside, tie the line to the spool, reinstall the nose cone, and wind line onto the reel with a little tension.

Answer: I HAVE 3 OF THEM WITH THE MATCHING RODS, 2 SIZE 3 AND ONE SIZE 2. MY 3'S HAVE 12 POUND TEST AND MY 2 Has 8.But generally speaking yu line up for the conditions . I like to give the fish a chance and but also have to look at what might be underwater, tree branches, weeds, a bit of garbage etc and a little extra line weight wont hurt too bad. Answer: its a great reel of its kind. I don't remember the sizes anymore but I think the smaller version will be fine.I have 2 one for larger fish like bass he other for brim and crappie. I bought them with the matching rods. price was right and ive had then a long time but since the casings are aluminum yu have to stay on top of cleaning them after each trip id definitely recommend them but take the new fishing person out and give it a try. I don't think if yu get it yur regret it yu may end up buying one or two for yourself

The picture is of the older style and VERY GOOD Rhino reel. WHAT YOU WILL GET IS THE CHEAP MADE NEW STYLE WITH THE VERY CHEAP HOUSING THAT WILL NOT LAST YOU NO TIME AT ALL. IT CASTS VERY LOUD AND IS VERY CHEAPLY MADE BUT THE SAME OR HIGHER PRICE. I have used dozens of the old style shown in the picture. They are fantastic but what Amazon will send you is the new style that have the openings in the housing and are NO GOOD..... DO NOT BUY THESE, YOU WILL BE SORRY !!!!!!!!!

I bought this reel to replace an older Zebco’s reel that worked quite well. I bought specifically for the family vacation to a remote cabin. It got stuck within the first 2 hours of use. It was very frustrating as I had to go to a nearby town to buy a new one to be able to keep fishing with my son. Very very very disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone

These reels are tough and easily maintained where the Zebco is a throwaway reel, of course you can buy almost 3 Zebcos for one of these.

I really, really like this reel. I had one for 10 years or so and it gave out this spring. Always liked that one, so decided to get this one. This newer one feels even more smooth, solid than the first (although, that one was a good 10 years old). Instant, no-miss pick-up with 8lb test, nice long casts through the medium action Ugly Stick, medium-speed retrieve (admittedly, the retrieve could be a little faster), and no-tangle winding onto the spool. Casts just as far, if not farther, with a small Rebel Crawdad that's 1/10th oz than my brother-in-law with his fancy $200 baitcasters and spinning reels. I think there are two sizes of this Rhino Spincast. The one I bought is the smaller, fits perfectly into my medium large hand and seems perfectly matched to the 6' medium action Ugly Stick. I fish maybe 10 times per year, including one week straight vacationing on a Michigan lake for largemouth bass, smallies, crappie, rockbass, bluegills, shellcrackers (redear sunfish)....anything in the lake, really, mostly with spinning baits and plugs. This reel suits me just fine for the standard stuff.

I bought one in June and it worked great for a couple of weeks. So I returned for replacement. I got the replacement July 1. Due to weather I was unable to use for a couple weeks. Once again after two weeks of use it started failing. This time it wouldn’t reel in. After realizing it was past return date I took it apart to try and fix it. There’s no fixing this. I doubt even taking the line off and replacing it will repair it. The line keeps crossing over itself and locking up. I’ve had many reels and none of them have given me this much trouble. Which is disappointing because the first 2-3 weeks it was smooth and cast beautifully. After two failed reels, I do not recommend.
