Why when I spin the handle it stops instead of continuing spinning? It is suppose to let line out fast. If it stops that means it stops letting line.

Answer: Well the way i read this if you are using the handle to let line out you must do this in reverse mode. the handle is for reeling in line or fishing on the bottom you can reverse the handle to let line out. But you must use a heaver weight

Answer: The handle can be changed to either left or right hand retrieve. Like any hex shaft handle setup you have to keep aware that the retaining screw part on the opposite side has a natural tendency to loosen up over time. Still a decent reel for the money.

Answer: Sounds like something is wrong with either the oscillating gear/slide or the meshing of the drive gear and oscillator gear. However I encountered the same problem with a lesser quality reel and it was a slightly bent main shafts the spool goes up and down on. It's a new reel, make a warranty/return claim. The 2 reels I have from this manufacturer are fine after some heavy usage.

Answer: Try looking at the drag. set it a little tight. I have had no problem with the one i have.

Answer: Just the size of this particular model. Use the 3000 minimum but preferably the 4000 for saltwater. It truly is more of a freshwater reel because of the seals. In salt the screws will rust. Keep it clean every time. Good saltwater gear is quite a bit more expensive.

Answer: The 3000 series actually has 13.5lbs the 4000 has 17 plus. Super smooth on steelhead with the 4000. I caught several trout 2 to 4 pound range with the 3000 series drag was perfect

Hey Sougayilang did you know that fish live in water? Water around non stainless metal = RUST. Just a tip for your future products. This was after 1 use in fresh water. Why take a smooth, great working reel and make it lousy by being too cheap to spend 70 cents more on stainless screws. If I had realized this sooner I would not have purchased 4 of your reels. You state that you use quality materials.

I Bought 2 of these reels and I love the smoothness of the drag and reel. However I live in SW Florida and fishing brackish and salt water has caused every screw to rust on both reels. The reels are less than 6 months old and have been used moderately. If the manufacturer had spent a few cents more to use stainless steel screws I would have given a 5 star rating.

Beim Kauf dieser Rolle bin ich davon ausgegangen, dass dieses Gerät für den Outdoor-Einsatz geeignet ist. Dem ist leider nicht so! Die wichtigsten Schrauben (M3) haben leider nach dem ersten Regenschauer Rost angesetzt (nicht verzinkt), auch hat die tolle grüne Lackierung bereits eine größere unschöne Furche, obwohl die Rolle nur ganz normal und ohne Gewalt am Boden abgelegt wurde.

Aufgrund der oben beschriebenen Mängel ist für mich der größte Pluspunkt, das gute Aussehen, bereits nach kurzer Nutzung hinfällig, hier wurde schlichtweg minderwertiges Material verarbeitet, höchste Qualität habe ich bei dem Preis natürlich nicht erwartet, allerdings auch keinen Schrott.
Die Bremse macht bisher einen guten Eindruck, wurde allerdings auch nicht groß belastet (dafür 2 Sterne).

Entgegen der zahlreichen positiven Rezensionen kann ich nur ein sehr ernüchterndes Resultat nach der ersten Benutzung ziehen, hier bekommt man definitiv nichts für den täglichen Gebrauch.
Würde das Produkt gern zurücksenden, allerdings ist das aufgrund der Abnutzungen wahrscheinlich nicht mehr möglich, sehr schade.

These Sougayilang spin cast reels are built so much better then some PENN reels costing over 300.00.
I spooled it up with 25 pound line and had it mounted on my ugly stick FROM Amazon/.
On my 7th cast from the rock jetty I hooked on to a 21 pound fighting blue.
The drag worked super good and I did tighten it a bit because that fish did not want to be hauled in.
That UGLY STICK bent BENT CLOSE TO 180* but held up and the Sougayilang spin reel was working just so smooth.
Considering all the bearings and parts inside,I can't detect any unwanted free play of any type.
I live right off the ocean so I wanted a good reel I could afford.
I'll put this Sougayilang reel up against any 300.00+ priced reel.
Thank you CHINA for making top quality fishing gear many of us here in the States can afford

Amazon Customer : Very weak!!

Right away the reel was all dinged up. I was still excited to use it because of the fast gear ratio! Took it out that same night and caught a decent size calico bass maybe 3lb the reel was barely able to handle it. Was flexing all over the place to the point where I didn’t trust it and had to switch rods. I had the biggest size by the way the 4000 with 10lb line would not recommend.

This reel looks great. Comes in a very nice box. But, a good looking reel and fancy box doesn’t mean it will preform. I had this reel on a rod for two trips out. The anti reverse works, in theory. But, every time I got hung in rocks, it failed. I fish a lot of rocks. So, hang ups are pretty frequent. A reel that preforms holds strong when you pop your line to free a hang up. This reel does not preform.

Braided up with 8lb braid to go fishing at lake which has 7 lb bass but on average 1-2 lb. I caught a 2 lb it reeled in very smooth. I then cast a 5" senko and get huge hit and go to set hook while setting hooked the junky plastic bearing in reel broke and that was that for fishing for the day.
