Answer: Not sure I understand your question? But like most spinning reels the drag is adjustable.

Answer: The drag works very well. I'm really impressed with how this reel works. I've bought a total of 3 now. The only issue I had was I thought there was to much line loaded on the reel so I took about 20 feet or so off.

Can someone help me find a good crappie rod to go with this reel, 8' to 10' ?

Answer: B&M rods are good 8’ or 10’ for trolling I use 12’ I also have MR Cappie 8’ & 10’ both rods work very well

Answer: I bought my hubby a 9' Mr. Crappy rod. He will use it in his one man boat. He does want a 12' rod to crappy fish out of the bass boat.

Why does this and the jigging rod that goes with it say it’s made by Lews but, it doesn’t say lews anywhere in the reel or rod or on the paperwork?

Reel is nice not that I replaced the line. The line that it came with is nice because it’s yellow and easy to see but complete trash. Every five casts I’d have a birds nest that needed untangle super annoying. I put some premium line on and haven’t had an issue.

Picture is NOT the reel you will receive ! Too much plastic. Should have an aluminum spool in this price range. There are many better spinning reels in the same price range that are far superior, especially for Crappie fishing techniques.

So far so good performs well for the investment. Before you try to use it get the line good and taught it comes loosely wild. After 15 or 20 casts it "broke in" and the retrieve became smoother.

Good value. Reel is smooth and lightweight. Only issue is there is too much line on the reel making it very prone to casting knots. Take about 30 yds off when you get it and it will be much better.

I purchased this reel for a cheap light set up and i just received it today. I purchased this reel mainly for the price and the name as I figured I didn’t have much to lose on it and I’ll probably just end up being on a spare pole that I won’t use that much or let other people use it instead of my good poles. First reaction I had is that it felt like your regular cheap reels, not very smooth but not too rough either. Other then that i can’t find anything else wrong with it, I have not taken it out yet to the water but i did rig it on a pole and casted our a few times and doesn’t feel like something thats going to fall apart on me quick. If it does I’ll update the review
Update: been a month and I’ve taken it fishing a lot and it has held up great so far. Ended up being on one of my go to rods and have used it every weekend for hours at a time. I will consider buying it again if I ever need a cheep reel
