Answer: Its applying more break pressure from the magnetic breaking system. The higher the number the more magnetic pressure is applied. The slower the spinning of the spool,the less distance you get.

What I disliked about this purchase is I received a USED fishing reel. It’s dirty, the paint is all chipped & scratched. I will give it a try out but if it performs poorly it’s being RETURNED.

Bail was faulty. Have had a vapor pt exactly like this one for years never a problem. Maybe just got a bad egg. It happens.

After doing a bunch of research on reels that wont break the bank I decided to go with the Quantum Vaper casting reel RH. I ABSOLUTELY love it! I've used it all season and never had any issues. With this being my first bait casting reel its extremely easy to use. Once I got it dialed in man theres no looking back! I love quantum products. Give it a try!
