For $30 you could not buy a better reel. I have multiple $200 reels and I choose to use this reel over them. Compared to my expensive Phleuger, Lews, and Shimano reels, this is just as good if not better. I have not used this reel to much but so far not 1 single issue. It came well lubricated and greased all fasteners were tight without a single visual imperfection. I TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS REEL! Being all metal with metal gears i don't see it wearing out any time soon. WHAT EVER CONPANY MADE THIS DEFINATELY PUT AN EXPENSIVE REEL ON THE MARKET AT AN EXTREMELY LOW PRICE. SUPERB QUALITY!!! IM LITERRALLY STUNNED... THANKS FOR THE AWESOME PRODUCT!!!

I fished this reel for redfish and it really preformed superbly!! I caught 2 back to back that were over 35" and it did really well and I continue to catch with it and have no issues with the product!! Keep up the good work making a great product!!!

This little reel is lightweight however, it doesn't cast like a lightweight one. It casts very smoothly and the spool holds line like the heavier reels. Very tough little reel.

This seems to be a very nice reel. It is a bit of a stretch to release the bail and pick up the line with your finger.
If you have large hands and long fingers it it won't be an issue. The mechanics of the reel are great. The ergonomics can use a little work. Keep in mind the fish don't care.
