Answer: Not familiar with the oakum but it should be a 5000 size.

Would be a nice reel if they sent the right sized handle with it, handle is a different color than the reel and threads on the handle are too small so it won't thread into the reel

yhis is my eight reel always happy eith how the preform. the last one I got yesterday tg 1000 the paint is chipped and bublled on reeldoesnt affetct performance but am used to quality if poroduct will keep and use hope in the future the quality of paint will be better

Piece of junk.
I have bought other reels from them and they were fantastic.
But this one must have been made by someone else
The spare spool will not even fit on it and fell apart.
Does not reel smooth.
Will stick with the other purchases that I have made with them.
I will not buy this one again.

They stand by thier word and provide service.

With all these bearings, this reel is very smooth. Adds some bling with the gold colored Aluminum reel seat shaft.
Comfortable large EVA handle knob is another plus. Great value and quality at a low cost. Ideal for Freshwater fishing; panfish and more. Team this reel up with an ultralight to medium action spinning rod.
