Answer: If using monofilament i wouldn’t go over 20 pound test but if you’re using braid i would say 40 to 50 pound test would be alright because off the diameter of the braided line.

This really is a beautiful reel. I've used it a lot in the last few days while fishing for bass. It has a large capacity for line and very smooth action. It does have a faster ratio than my others so I did have to pay attention to how fast I was reeling and slow it down often. I was able to cast lures of all sizes from crappie jigs to crank baits.

this is the second one i have bought within a month i was so impressed with it...for the price its phenomenal...I have owned several bait casters, most of which were were at least twice expensive and i havent noticed any difference other than price...good smooth drag...

For a $40 this is a decent reel. It looks good, is comfortable to use, but is a bit noisier than some of my nicer reels(to be expected). It casts great, and I had it spooled and set up in no time at all.
My big complaint is that the brake on the handle side loosens up all the way every 15-20 casts, which can cause a big backlash. I just double check the brake tightness every 10ish casts.

Update: Maybe I got a bad reel here, but the braking system is very weak. With everything set to max braking it still backlash with casting minnow jerk baits. Also, 10lb test mono continues to get caught between the spool and reel gap...I like that its very light. But the plastic is very noticeable making it feel cheap and not durable. I feel like if I drop it, it'll chip/break.
