Answer: screw the black side cap and put it on the right side and screw the black cap back on

Answer: I have the 3000 series I run 20 pound braid I would go any heavier then that

how does this compete with a Pflueger Presidential reel?

Answer: It’s nice mines is not to Smoove but I suggest you look at

Answer: Mine has been a pretty good reel. I have Pluegers, as well. It may be a little heavier [the Lew's], but depending on what rod you're balancing it with, that, probably, won't be an issue. In that price range, I would go with whichever is less of the two (just my personal opinion). Plus, if you ever drop it in reasonably clear water, that orange will be a heck of a lot easier to see.

Answer: Great reel but I can’t compare never used a pflueger presidential reel

Answer: Personally, I prefer my Lew's. I use it on an 8'6 mh lamiglas spooled with 17lb braid for drift fishing and big river lures. I think that the overall feel of the Lew's is better, but the president xt has a smoother retrieve. All in all, id buy the smash again without question.

Since this reel already has a rubber thing in the middle, do you have to put electrical tape around it to spoil it with braid

Answer: You can use tape

Answer: I have 2 of them, 1 with braid an 1 with flurocarbon
