Answer: Garbage.....the gear ratio is garbage. The reel is garbage....do not waste your time. Got two different models and both felt like they used sand instead of grease. Stay away from this brand.

Why does it ship in 1 or 2 months?

Answer: Because they hope they suckered you into paying for their production to make products worth an 1/8 of what you pay. Stay away.

How much yards

Both pictures they they show for right hand and left hand look right so which one do I choose?

Answer: Ignore pics, If you prefer left hand retrieve, choose left. Otherwise choose right.

Answer: I received right hand side reel ordering basic one, it’s my dominant hand so that’s what I prefer

The reel came in a nice box and it worked ok during a tournament. Smooth and easy to use with little backslash and Its light weight which is good but also bad because it felt really cheap and would break. Its not a bad reel but not a great reel either. It would be a good choice for someone who is fishing a baitcast reel for the first time.

So far GREAT reel. Strung 10lb test and have used several different lures. Remember when changing lures to make the necessary reel adjustments to prevent/limit backlashing. Very smooth operation and quick retrieve.

R. Tom : A Reel Grinder

When this reel was new it was smooth as butter and a pleasure to cast and retrieve. 2 weeks later it became a grinder. Rough casting and retrieval, felt like gears were grinding...sounded like an old movie projector. I returned it to Kastking (excellent customer support) and they sent me a new one. Again smooth like butter. One month later it was a grinder just like the first one. Both reels we're never taken apart. Interestingly both reels without the spool was smooth like butter. When the spool is put in place it starts grinding. I set the spool and the removable cap in place multiple times to ensure it was set right but to no avail. I bought a Picsifun Torrent about the same time as the 2nd Legend 2 for about the same price and it still casts and retrieves like butter. Kastking let me know if I'm doing something wrong, otherwise the Legend 2 will be put with my pile of lost lures never to be seen again. (I'll buy another Picsifun Torrent to replace it).

I’ve caught a little over 20 bass with it using squid as bait . I can’t use a lure or jig on it because it won’t cast out more then 5 feet .
