This thing is PURE JUNK. Hung up from the start. Took it apart, made sure no sharp edges on pick up pins, lubed everything well and tried again. Thought maybe it was the braid I was using so I tried mono - same thing. I threw it away. I expected WAY more from Abu Garcia - even if it's a low end reel, still should work better than the kids Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle combo I have. Avoid this piece of crap. Buy a Zebco Omega Pro or Bullet.
