Stainless Steel Front Cover The stainless steel front cover provides extreme durability and protection for the components on the inside of the reel. The stainless steel front cover is also non-corrosive and can stand up against water and salt.	Dial-Adjustable Drag The dial-adjustable drag is easily adjusted to match the drag setting to the fishing situation. The higher the drag, the harder it is for line to exit the reel. The lower the drag, the easier it is for line to exit the reel.	Dual Ceramic Pick-up Pins The ceramic outlasts other materials used for pick-up pins because ceramic is resistant to abrasion from high wear and reduces friction within the reel. A softer material has the potential to develop a groove in the pin, which cuts the line.

Does this reel have metal gears?

Answer: Yes it does.

Could this be used for bowfishing?

Answer: It could be used for bowfishing, but we would recommend a bigger reel like the 808 or 888 for Bowfishing.

is this rated for saltwater environment?

Answer: This reel is a freshwater reel and does not have any saltwater protection

Answer: I've used it in brackish water and worked like a champ... just change your line for freshwater

Is this reel able to switch retrieve?

Answer: YES. 1. Unscrew the dust cover (Black plastic button-looking thing on the opposite side of reel from retrieve handle. You can unscrew it with your fingers.) 2. Use a flat-head screw driver to loosen the screw beneath the dust cover. 3. Switch retrieve handle and screw to opposite sides, tighten screw, reinstall the dust cover over the screw head.

Answer: I contacted Zebco about this issue and they insisted that it can be changed. An amateur wouldn't know how. If you have issues contact Zebco and they will explain.

What is Cajun line?

Answer: It us a brand. It is red, and it did not last very long. The anti reverse went out on the reel the second day I had it. May have had 3 hours fishing on it. The line only lasted one more trip after that. As soon as I got home,I took it I off the pole and threw it in the trash, where it belonged. Stay clear of this product.

Answer: This reel is a higher end reel than the 33.

Answer: If the anti reverse worked, it would be better than the 33.

Answer: IT will hold 100yds of 10lb. mono

Answer: 110 yards of 10 lb test

Answer: It doesn't matter. The first one didn't work. I exchanged it easily. Second one crapped out after a week. Stay away.

Answer: This is just the reel.

Answer: If it just says “Reel” that’s all you are buying. If it shows rod and reel together as a set, then you are buying both.
