You took the words right outta my...keyboard. Nice fish though!

i was setting up the camera on my phone so my buddy shawn could take the pic. I caught the fish on a 6' green watermelon blake flake senco. The previous biggest one from this year out of this lake by me was 3.4 but i have heard of people catching 7lb+ this year and just waiting for it to be me
Jesus, a 6' senko. I didn't know theymade them THAT big.
Is it me, or does that fish loook a lttle beat up?
they make 7inch senkos as well but i havent tried one yet
Not to be a hater, but please tell me you didn't lay that beauty on the grass...... :-/
Is a nice fish though.
if he was fishing from shore (which looks like he was)
it would be pretty hard not to

Pretty hard not to what..lay it on the grass..? Paleese, I fish from shore Alot, you can catch a fish, take a pic, and Never have it hit the ground, trust me on this..
you didnt get it, dude. a ' indicates FEET whereas " indicates inches.
I was there when he caught it, d**n him. I had a 3.2 the day before and he just had to one up me. We'll be back though and we'll keep throwing back the big ones.
Nice fish.
Nice fish bro.CONGRATS on your new PB
its not my pb just the best of the year my pb is a 24' 6lb 7oz from 3 years ago
24"
Nice fish but I gotta say at 20" that thing looks like it should be hitting at least 5 1/2lbs but more like 6. Love the color of it too.
Very nice fish
Nice fish. Congrats ;D
That's a fine fish and a nice pic!
8-)
Nice Catch, getting a nice bass ia always such a rush. Congrats once again.

When we closed the mouth and streched the tail, it actually made it to a legit 21", one inch shy of a citiation for VA. There's no doubt we'll get one soon. It was definetly not a 5+ but a strong 4. I caught a 23" 4pd4oz in NY a month or so ago. All depends on the diet and time of year of that fish.
Nice one, congrats!
I was actually thinking about hitting those lakes this past week during my lunch. One of my buddies fished one of the lakes last night and didn't have any luck. We're gonna give Chickahominy Lake a try tomorrow.
And wouldn't you know I got skunked at Chick too!!! Which lake did you pull that one out of? I was fishing the lake close to the post office the other day without any luck. That picture looks like the lake across Knuckles Road.
I went up there this morning from 0600-0900 and only caught two very small fish. What time ru guys usually hitting the lake?
Actually, on my earlier post, i was talking about the innsbrook lakes because i work not too far from there.
But about chick lake, me and my buddy fished there yesterday from about 9a - 1p and i caught 3 and missed one and my buddy got skunked again ;D
i have heard that innsbrook is better in the morning but me and shawn usually fish it everyday after we get off work from 430ish-930ish
ill have to see if i can get out one evening to fish
Fishing has been tough there lately. I'm hoping sometime in the next few days will be better because of the cooler weather and my friend, the full moon.
Nice fish! Used to work over at 4801 knuckles, always looked at the ponds driving by but never fished em. Hopefully the immigrants won't RUIN your spot like they have much of the richmond public fishing areas....The parks along the james used to offer great smallie fishin. Now you cant walk among the rocks without stepping on beer bottles and dodging groups of people.
