Any pics of your biggest skinniest bass and what did you catch it on?
My "Biggest Skinniest" was caught on May 14, 2010, and the lure is in the first picture (Blue Fox). This was long before I started to kept track of my fishing information (unknown weight/length etc), but looking at the date my guess would be it was skinny because it probably just finished spawning.

Caught this poor old girl in August of 2013 in a little creek off of the Tidal Potomac River. She coughed up a couple of crayfish when I landed her and I felt kinda bad about putting her through the stress of a catch and release. Her belly could not have been more emaciated and I always wondered later if that was her last summer.
She hit a 10" ribbontail plastic worm and had no fight in her at all.
My brother and I fished 3 days in Myrtle Beach last spring and caught this 22" SKINNY bass once each day, one of those days the fish shook the hook after a short fight and was caught an hour later. She wasn't on a bed. I thought they didn't get big by being stupid, but this one did.
Here's mine, caught on a zoom horny toad.
This one was long and skinny.......

Gold right? Haha. That was actually a hand tied jig on a Siebert Big-O head!

I love it when the pros catch a bass and are like "this one has a 6-pounder head and a 3-pounder body" I bet a lot of tourneys could have been won with much heavier bags if those bass hadn't gone on a diet.
It is a little hard to see, but you can see the stomach tightened up.. she measured 22.5" and weighed 3lb 4 oz. Poor fish :/
I have LOTS of photos of emaciated fish as they are pretty common in my water, some of which look even skinnier than this fish....but this is one of the longest.
I was fishing a 5" grub and was at the end of the retrieve right next to the boat when I saw this mouth open up, grab the grub, and dive for deep water. HOOK-SET. Zrrrrr, zrrrrr, zrrrrr goes the drag on the spinning reel. I'm pretty pumped as I thought I had just hooked a 7 1/2 pounder that I had caught twice before in that lake. The MOUTH certainly looked familiar...
Got the fish back to the boat, in the net, and in the boat. I can tell it's a long fish but sorta felt a bit disappointed when I got it on the bump board. 24 inches (the same length as the 7 1/2 pounder I had caught)...but only 4.58 pounds. Normally, I'm jazzed any time I catch a 4-pounder...but this poor thing was just a mess - the photo tells the tale...
Heres maybe the longest bass I ever caught , but skinny . Taken about 1980 ,on a jig and Uncie Josh waterdawg pork bait.
i once caught a paper thin bass on a white spinnerbait with a mouth i could stick both my fists in several years ago. when i first glimpsed this fish in the water before i got a good look at her, i almost lost it. i was just sure i was about to top the state record. but i realized pretty quickly something was wrong. she gave up too easily, came in too quickly. when i got a good look at her, i couldn't believe the fish was even still alive or had the strength to bite at all. literally that fish could not have looked any worse. 9 lbs. 15 oz. only lacked a hair being 29" long. i have a regular pic around here somewhere, but nothing i can download. probably about as disappointed as i have ever been to catch a huge bass, if that even makes any sense.
25+ inch that weighed just under 6 pounds. Caught it on a 4" Powerbait worm fished wacky.

Take a picture of the picture with a digital camera, problem solved.

here ya go.
My PB, she could have been 13-15 pounds if she wasn't so freaking skinny!
i caught one before on a booyah pad crasher that measured 22inches and weighed 3 1/2 pounds it didn't look that healthy and its bottom jaw was split into 2 but at least she was trying to eat!
Couldn't tell you the weight, but it was the longest bass last year.
Darn it

Yep, didn't fight very well either, probably 10 seconds from hookset to the net. I doubt that fish lived much longer.
Not mine but this fish was just a hair under 26" last summer and my buddy I fish all my tournaments with called me and told me to bring the scale down to our famous sportmans club lake. If I remember right it was like 5lbs 6oz or something like that. I mean she was healthy but soooo far from full potential
Caught one about 7 or 8 years ago. I don't have a pic handy, but it went 4-11. The middle of the bass was about 2/3 the size of its head. Found out later that the pond had a fish kill and a lot of the baitfish had died off.
