With all the stuff about the new year, I thought it would be cool to have a thread where everyone should post a picture of their biggest bass of 2019.

Where's yours? Mine is in my profile-pic...but here's a larger shot. Caught 31 July just before 8:30 AM on a 3/8oz Chartruese/Yellow, Colorado/Willow spinnerbait with a 3" Pumpkin-Green Flake Berkley Chigger Craw trailer. 3.94lb.
9.9 on a 3/16 oz spinnerbait Nov 19th
Biggest Green Bass went 9.67 lbs.
(She was a gorgeous Mexican Bass)
Totally Destroyed a 6 inch swim bait.
Biggest Brown Bass was a 6.94 lb tank that ate a Neg Rig
(Don't tell David Dudley though).

Earlier this year I caught a largemouth bass that was +25.8 inches long with a +18.25 inch girth. I caught other big bass but I was much more focused on multi species fishing this year. I look towards to improving in bass fishing in 2020 and hope to continue catching new species of fish for my fish lifelist.
brown and purple 1/2 oz flippin jig/ june bug rage craw. trailer
Edited by clh1217878.2 on 3-24-19 caught on a 1/2 oz Greenfish Tackle HD Ballistic Spinnerbait in Sun Gill color
My largemouth wasn't real special, right around 6.5 pounds on March 1st on a Rayburn Red Tungsten 2tap.
The smallmouth was a special fish though. I've been trying for a decade and a half to break my 3 way tie for my smallmouth PB of 5 pounds even, and I smashed it by nearly a pound with a 5.83lb fish on May 10th on a Duo Realis jerkbait. Just a pound off the state record.
Be nice if everyone would include what lure they used . This war 6.47lbs caught on a Stanley Ribbet .
6 lb 12 oz
6-10. Double wide beaver/punch rig. Oct.1

2019 was not a year of monsters for me. I did get several smallmouth just over 5lbs and a couple largemouth just under 5, but my 10 year old did well this year. He got new PB’s for smallmouth at least twice, one was right around 4lbs and the other just a hair under 5lbs. First fish was on a wacky rigged Berkley Powerbait Maxscent General, second one on a Maxscent flatworm on a drop shot.
7.6 caught on a Golden bream super fluke.
My biggest of 2019 was a new PB at 11-8 measuring 27" by 19.5" and caught on a SK red eye shad lipless.

Well, this was the year I started to get into bass fishing, so I didn’t catch many big ones. Also, I spent most of my time fishing in the creeks/small rivers near me for smallmouth, and none were ever very big. I really didn’t know of any lakes near me with fishing access, but now I have learned of some, so I will be hitting those this year. ????
Was also my first fish of the year. Didn’t weigh it, but I’d guess it was easily over 6 maybe closer to 7.
8-11 on gambler big ez Swimbait
Neko rigged gambler sweebo worm.
Never weighed on creature bait
Biggest LM this year was 6.4 on drop shot Roboworm " people's worm "
To busy and to old to learn to resize pics. Lol
On March 7th I was able to get this camera shy 7.7lber to eat a Revenge spinnerbait.
I thought these 2 were going to be my 2 biggest while they were on (Clear Lake trip)...
...but my biggest (and PB) came at a local lake on a stick bait and weighed in at 9.1.
My fattest of the year was this 6.7lb 22” hawg on a black trick worm if I remember right. March 15th
Later in the summer caught one that was a little longer but it was skinny, only like 5lbs.
No PB’s this year for me, but I take pride in having “guided” 5 people to theirs. Biggest was the bottom photo caught by my wife who hadn’t fished in 3 decades (5.4 lbs):
Caught on April 8th with a Jackhammer chatterbait. This fish is pressed up against my body trying to get it all in the picture taking it myself. Fish very rarely get this big in Pa.
Figured out how to downsize pics. Lol
Another good SM from 2019

Now you need to practice taking pictures with the sun on your face & at the back of the person taking the picture. Helps with the glare.
Didn't get to fish as much in 2019 as in the last few years. My biggest of confirmed size was 20", 3.96# on a LC Slender Pointer 97 in "ghost sunfish"....on my first outing of the year, back in April:
This one might have beaten it slightly, but didn't get a measure or weight. Caught on a Green pumpkin-Purple Siebert Fogy bladed jig:
5.25 lbs From shore. Zoom Super Fluke, white albino, T-rigged, spinning rod.
Screen from a video. July something, Morgan Hill, CA.
3rd cast, what a rush! My runner up was 4.75 from the same spot a month later with a Walmart crank bait.
Didn’t do a huge amount of bass fishing this year, spent a lot more time chasing toothy critters. Biggest largemouth was 4.5 and biggest smallie was right around 4. Had an amazing year for fishing though, got my pb pike at 44.5(my profile pic), pb brown trout, pb walleye, pb channel cat, pb sauger, and bought my first real boat.
Didn't get a weight but she is the biggest Pennsylvania bass of my life. Caught on a owner flashy swimmer with a swing impact fat in sexy shad.
Biggest brought to the scales was 5.8, caught on the 2nd cast of the first tournament of the year. Didn't catch another keeper the rest of the day.
