Are many people here fishing from kayaks? I've been doing for 2 years now and love it.
Thought I would share my videos from the past season..

Awesome.
I do!
Yep. Only way I can get onto the water (when it's not frozen).
I do. Last year I bought a tarpon 120 and ended up selling my boat.
I bet you kayak fishermen catch more fish per hour than the Bass Boat guys just because of the waters you fish. I canoe and have a plastic portable boat and those hard to get to spots are often loaded with eager fat bass .
Getting my Feelfree Lure 10 or 11.5 in the next couple of months. Really looking forward to it.
Love my kayak! Best way to explore water by me. Good exercise too!
Got myself one for Christmas!
Oh yeah! There are plenty of us ... Of course my Yak is frozen right now. Once the thaw hits I am cruzin' in my Ride 115x
Awesome. I have a bunch of gear sitting inside ready to be mounted! Its going to be a good season, I can feel it.
Even one of the mods is an OG kayak basser…
I sold my kayak, and got a jon boat which I love when on bigger lakes with easy access. Now I'm thinking of getting a kayak again, but getting the lightest one I can. So I can take it where ever I want, hiking if I have to.
With only one rod, and a plano box with mixed lures It would be like finesse kayaking hahaha
i'm fishing in a wilderness ride 135 myself
Acsend D10 not a fishing kayak but who cares I love it

It gets you on the water, it gets you fish.
Doesn't need to be fancy. I know I've caught bass on some sketchy boats that probably werent even sea worthy hahaha
Nucanoe classic 12. Great way to exercise and enjoy the outdoors!
Well said and I agreeOn 2/26/2015 at 8:58 AM, Dylcook91 said:It gets you on the water, it gets you fish.

Been fishing out of a kayak for a long time but got out of it for a while and now have been back in it for about 5 years now. So, no you are not alone on this board.
Sweet. Good to hear from all you. I'm riding in a ocean kayak big game ii

Any vessel is a fishing vessel if you can cast a line and catch a fish!
Oh yeh....been fishing from a kayak for almost 10 years now. Just rigging some new gear onto the new slayer propel and waiting for the snow too melt!!

Let me guess.... hmmmm.... you?
Yep, not as long as some guys up here - about ten years.
I was really wanting a boat, but then my wife was like...
...Well you know how that went.
I'm really looking forward to it though.
I am lucky enough to have a 16.5 deep aluminum boat and a kayak. The last 2 years I spent more time fishing out of the kayak than the deep v and have caught more fish. My wife has a 10 foot yak I borrow for smaller creeks and rivers and my 2000 Old Town Loon 138 for Lakes and places I don't have to portage. After last summer I have even considered selling the deep v because it doesn't get out much.
I fish an Ocean Kayak Trident 11T and I have a Prowler 11 for my wife. They don't get used nearly enough.
I got a yak. Use it when my dads not around and we can't take the boat
I bought a Jackson Cuda 12' last year. Love fishing out of the Kayak. As been said, it lets you get to those places most boats can't.
