Not the combo I caught her on but a new favorite: phenix k2 7'1 ml/ shimano sustain 2500.

Same here, that's the fish of a lifetime in KS and most that size come from closely guarded farm ponds or watersheds.
that is a great looking bass! congrats on the PB!
nice freakin' fish!
Props to you man thats a very healthy looking fish lol
That is an awesome fish. Don't see very much that size up here in the NE. That scenery is also unreal. The second best thing about this picture, besides the awesome fish is that it is caught in an aluminum boat. You don't need an 80k bass boat to catch hogs. In fact, I catch more in grand dads 16 ft aluminum than my Ranger. Can't figure it out but it happens regularly.
What a great fish man congrats on the new PB!
That thing is THICK!
I want one that big! Congrats
good work man, its a beaut!! looks like that res water level is really down up there as well =(
Thanks everybody! It was a blast alright! Ended up catching 25 lbs 5 fish on Saturday with an 8,6, two 4s and a 3. Not to mention the fish rw caught!
Ya it's pretty sad. Lake's the 2nd lowest it's ever been right now. As long as we have an El Niño is the next couple years it's not going anywhere, though. There's still a ton of water compared to the central coast lakes I fish!On 10/27/2015 at 10:34 PM, Frog Turds said:good work man, its a beaut!! looks like that res water level is really down up there as well =(

Beautiful fish! And its good to know there are even bigger ones out there.
Beautiful bass! Just edged out my pb by a couple of ounces
Congratulations on a nice fish!!! That would certainly be the bass of a lifetime in my neck of the woods.
The pictures are great, too. Nice job.

CONGRATS!
That's a donkey. Congrats
Nice job, Congrats
Congrats What a pig
Landing a fish that big with a crankbait in it's mouth is like 100 extra Fish God points. Great fish and a great job.
Congrats on your new PB!
Thanks man! When the fish came up and I saw how big it was I never would've forgiven myself if I lost it lol. It looked barely hooked but Luckily it wasn't as it seemed and it was hooked with 2 points on the top of the mouth. She was pegged and not coming off.
