Well my girlfriend and i was driving by the lake one day and saw the Hooters SUV and boat go tho the marina. So I start screaming out of excitement and tell me girlfriend to turn around and go to the ramp. So she does. I was just wantin a picture of his boat and truck but i got more than i ever expected. When i got there i asked Brad Wall if i could take a picture with him. he told me yes then we started talking about fishing and i told him that i was a tournament bass fisherman too. next he looked in my girlfriends car and saw all our rods and reels. He said ive got a big tournament tommorrow and im pre fishing today and i hate being on the boat alone, do you guys wanna come. So we went out on his boat but then a storm rolled in so we only had 2hrs but hey that was kool. We werent trying to catch fish we were just trying to locate them so i dont have any pictures of any fish. but i did decide to set the hook one time and managed to catch a litle saugeye about 8 inches long. But all in all it was an awsome adventure!

The smile on your face says it all. Congrats to you! ;D
A couple of nice photos Nate!
My name is Scott and I work with Brad in marketing/promotion/website/photography, etc. and I wondered if you would mind if we used a couple of your photos for the website photo gallery (we will be introducing a friends and family section). Check my profile for contact information.
Brad is certainly a class act! I'll forward this thread to him (sorry to resurrect it) and ask him to register an account. I'm sure he'd love to pass on some brutal bass fishing advice!
Oh, and here are a couple recent photos I took at the FLW Tournament @ Lake Norman in April (the hook-set was featured in last month's HOOTERS magazine)...

Yeh no kidding, where can i sign up?
Thats just cool. I never get to fish off a boat. With a pro non the less ,i bet you learned a few things.
What a great story and pics! Sometimes when people bless others they don't even have an idea of truly how much they are blessing someone! I can see it on your face and hear it in your words when reading the story. Great pics and reply from the Hooters Team! Awesome representation of a company, brand, man and fishing. Thanks for sharing that story.
I am the girlfriend/photographer (haha), and it really was the greatest experience of either of our lives. Brad Wall is such an amazing person, he's hilarious and super nice, which made the whole experience even better. Fishing on our home lake with a professional, and we even showed him a couple good secret spots =]
I wouldn't trade it for the world, and I know Nate wouldn't either.
[Thanks to Brad, whenever you sign up!]
Nate left out the part where this guys boat had broken down, and he was in the water trying to hold on to it, (this was during the storm), and he couldn't swim, so we tried towing it and the rope broke three times. The water was really choppy, and it was a task to get the boat on the trailer, so Nate and Brad jumped in the lake, clothes shoes and all, to help the poor guy, and I had to hold Brads boat against the dock, my first time ever on a boat. It was crazy.
It was absolutely an experience I will cherish forever, and I think it's awesome that there are still kind-hearted people in the world who would go so far to make someones dreams.
Welcome aboard!
8-)
Totaly AWESOME , and WELCOME !!!

I have a new favorite pro. That is the coolest thing i've ever heard.
He's a cool guy. I wondered what he would be like while I kept up on him (online) during the Northern Divisional in August, while he smoked the competition..All the hooters hype made me wonder what kind of personality the guy had. Well I came to the final day weigh in, and he really was a class act, being humble in his win, and everyone seemed to appreciate him. I tell you what, everyone fishing in the Junior divisional, including myself was a little worried about what the kids in his boat might weigh in..I was in the area that he was fishing all day, and saw him jumping back and forth between reefs. Luckily his kid in my age group only had 10.xx lbs.
