Not which ones you want, hate, broke, love, need, had, etc....which, if any of the above, do you own and use right now, presently.

I am feeling so left out: WHERE"S THE PFLUEGER TRION YOU MOOK
Doesn't fit the price range
Voted Energy, but also own a Chronarch! After owning a Shimano, thats all Im ever going to buy! You cant go wrong with owning a Shimano! JMO!
I voted Revo, but also own Johnny Morris in the same price range.
Revo here!
Curado here, been trying the Revo but it doesnt compare to well to the Curados that make up the rest of my arsenal. Besides nobody else will vote Curado......its too heavy, too expensive, its a tank, i cant hold it up all day.....
Voted citica and quantum accurist. All my gear gets used in some way some how.
Abu Premier, Sol, Curado and Pflueger Supreme.
Revo's, and soon to be a citica ;D. I only voted for Revo though.
TD Sol. Love that thing...
what no mg50
sorry guess i cant vote
Out of those listed.......Curado.
2 Revo's, a Curado, a Citica, an Accurist CX and an Accurist PT. All non-Revos will become Revos soon..............even the new Shimano's I bought this winter, they just don't compare for the price to the Revo's IMHO
Curado, Revo Premier (for now)
Where's the Daiwa Zillion? One of the best workhorse reels out there.
Predigest! No round reels

Yeah! I have one of those too. ;D
I voted Citica ( only BC I use anymore).
I use spinning reels the most.
I voted for the Sol. Technically I don't own the Sol, but I have five of their JDM twins, the Alphas. I am a Daiwa guy though, so my answer is a little bias.
Daiwa Sol for sure. It really is a refined little reel with a great paint job. I've owned a couple for a while now, and they are nearly the same as the JDM Alphas I own. Great reel for weightless baits....
fuego, couple curados, citica, moving towards the daiwas, sol next
Excellent feedback guys, thanks.
QuotePredigest! No round reels
I agree what about the 4600's??
Guys this isn't something preferential, I am accumulating data for something specific. Thanks for participating
abu 6000 two, 65 pd. braid
I use my curado's most of the time, with a few citica's in there.
M_Fields
I voted sol and daiwa pro since i didn't see team daiwa supertuned x's on here!I have used the sol twice but am thinking of going ahead and selling it to buy a 5.7oz pixy. :
Have: Revo S, Revo Premier, TDZ-BBS, 50MG's (5), Core, Abu 4600
Still have but don't use: Abu 4600's (8?), 5500's (3), and a few other old Abu's.
Don't like the TDZ-BBS at all. It was a huge disappointment and a giant wasted of money. The only 2 positives about the BBS are weight and looks.
If it helps in crunching your data, I replaced the Abu's I was using with 50MG's, because I like the lighter weight and had the money, not because the 4600's weren't good reels. (but the 50's are much nicer! ...lol)
Man, I have 7 baitcast combos, but none on the list... I feel so inadequate... it's a wonder I catch fish at all. Lookin' to set up a bait monkey outlet LBH (Abu Garcia's are the best selling reels, followed by Shimano)?
Citica 100dsv
Citica 200d
Citica 200dpv
I have an Revo S but getting rid of it shortly.
Love the Shimanos so much that I'm going all Shimano.
Can I be part of the posse now lol.
The Revo Premier and Daiwa Sol are at the same price point (within $10) as the Cronarch 50Mg. I don't have any reels on the list, so I'm no help here.
Ronnie
wow 209 votes and 24% are for the new Revo how long has the new curado been out ??no wonder they are doing a makeover and this can mean a lot considering there are more choices for curados then revos .there are 5 kinds of revos all based on the same size frame BUT what matters in 2008 is material differances, price points, bearin count etc etc , all the way from Joe public to skeet reese YEEEEEEEHAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW ABU FOR LIFE!!!!!!!

Hey Chaddy : Don't worry about zipping your lip. Concieted Redneck wins the BS'er of the century award and then some. I bet he even owns all those reels or has at least borrowed one from a friend for an hour. ;D
Curado, Energy, and an Accurist. Honestly, my favorite out of the three is probably the Accurist, just seems most versatile to me.
aaron

Reels I have that you asked about:
1- Revo SX
2- Revo SC
3- Daiwa TD Pro
All very good reels, would recommend any of them.
Falcon
Revo S-L, Curado 200B to be retired due to RH orientation
Of those listed. Revo Premier and Revo STX. I had a Quantum Energy PT but the Revos didn't want it hanging on the rack with them.
The ones I own are:
Abu Revo SC
Shimano Chronarch SF
Shimano Calais 200
Shimano Calais 100
Shimano Calcutta TE-100 GT
Shimano Metanium XT
Lew's BB-1
2 2005 Daiwa Pixy
1 Daiwa Alphas Type F
1 Daiwa Alphas Ito
2 Daiwa TDZ 105
2 Daiwa TDZ 103
1 Abu Garcia 521 XLT Plus
1 Abu Garcia XLT Plus
1 Shimano Chronarch SF
1 Shimano Curado 200
1 Shimano Curado 200 B38
1 Shimano Scorpion 1000 Mg
1 Chronarch 50 Mg
1 Shimano Core Mg
2 Shimano Metanium XT
The FORCE is balanced, got as many Daiwas I do Shimanos ..... well that 's it now, who knows in the future, thinking about getting a couple extra reels ( not that I need them )
And no, I ain 't ever gonna get rid of those two old Abus.

There are a lot of Shimanos to choose from and as Alpster pointed out, Chronarchs are not on the list. (Calcutta series didn't make the list, either.)
Shimano:
Calais CL200
(2) CTE200GT
Chronach
Metanium
Abu Garcia:
Revo STX
8-)

Well, the Revo (any) includes the S, SX, STX, and Premier which spans a price range of about $100 to $250. For a true comparison the Citica and Curado should be added together and the Chronarch should also be included to match up with the Premier.
But, if you just add the Citica to the Curado you have more Shimano's than Revo's.
citica & revo inshore.
Are the inshore models built differently, with different materials, to inhibit salt water corrosion?
Quantum for me. Have 3 accurist but replacing them with Tours and Energies.
revo s and revo sx, both left handers. love em.
All Quantums here. Mainly the Accurist but just picked up my 3rd Energy PT and LOVE it!!!!!!!
Quantums and Pflueger president for me.
Shimano's, Quantum's, Garcia's.....
QuoteAre the inshore models built differently, with different materials, to inhibit salt water corrosion?
Per tackletour
QuoteThe Inshore reel is fabricated out of an exclusive one piece X-Craftic alloy frame and crank-side cover for enhanced corrosion resistance. Along with the saltwater-ready body design the reel incorporates seven stainless steel HPCR bearings, Duragear brass gears, Carbon Matrix Drag system, centrifugal brake system, and the Infinity II spool design. The reel also uses a stainless steel crankshaft for additional durability against the corrosive saltwater environment. The Inshore reel is 8.68 ounces (9.1 ounces with the Power Handle) in weight, has a larger line capacity than the Revo STX - 12/175, and a gear ratio of 6.4:1.
Had to vote Revo because there was no Zillion, Tierra , Core or Chronarch? I'm thinking someones in the market for a new reel! ;D
just bought my first two ever, a quantum accurist and a cabelas tournament zx...hopefully they are worth the money, especially the accurist
Thank you much!
Only reel I own on the list is the Revo. One Revo S and One Revo SX
Revo and Quantum Energy here I used to have a curado but traded it for the Energy
Also, Daiwa Zillion, Shimano Core, ABU Record, Shimano Calcuttas, Shimano Scorpion. All great reels.
Sold my Revo Premier, its no high-end Shimano or Daiwa to say the least .

Thank god somebody thought so too ;D
Other than for one old Ambassador, all baitcasters are Shimano.
I have 3 Revo's and 3 Curado's of those listed.
i voted revo, i have and S-L, but i also have a daiwa procaster-Z japanese model i bought in the flea market here. and FYI, that daiwa will out cast my revo everytime.
2 Shimano Chronarchs - one of which you tried!
