How about everybody with a camera and fishing equipment takes some photo's and post em' up here for everyone to see 8-)
I'll Start. BPS Carbonlite/Falcon Bucoo/ 65# Power pro/ BPS Spinner bait in FireTiger.
Your turn! 8-)
Here are my newest reels. Just came in today. The Revos I sold paid for these. In terms of smoothness, the Stradic has VERY little on the Symetre.
my pictures arnt as pretty as you guys...
sqhertz, those are some fine pictures don't say they aren't. But as a tip nothing beats natural light when it comes to photo's 8-)
just a few of my toys. some are really good pics from my real cam and setup to look nice and a few with phone cam and dont care about how they look lol.
and a few more

thanks. those are some older pics from a canon 570is. macro and auto mode lol. it does have some manual features but i dont know much about it.
Those two round reels are very.....colorful....
QuoteThose two round reels are very.....colorful....
I never liked the Anodized pink color on the Ito but I own all the Limited Ito reels and LOVE them all no Daiwa collector/Enthusiast's collection is complete without all the Daiwa/Ito limited stuff... HOWEVER I have 6 M-Ito's, 5 lites and those reels are fishing machines... (Two of the Ito's are new in box and 1 lite is new in box in the reel display case)
Those "Colorful" round reels are casting beasts... they will both go VERY low in casting weight and preform as good as pretty much any low-pro and out preform A LOT of them... The M-lite's are one of my fav reels and IMHO the best casting round reel one can touch... with the ZPI Shallow spool (The one in the pic has the deep spool) my other 3 all have the shallow spool (the new in box one has stock spool). can cast 1/8oz with ease on the right rod.. and go even lower if you went down in line size.. I dont know where the would bottom out but I can tell you its low All the ones that I use have ABEC 7 orange seals (New in box are all stock to uphold resale value).
...
Here are a few random ones I like of my picture collection and some of my older gear.

I was using a Kodak Zi8. A little beast for video, but for photo's all I have is Auto and Macro.
Russ, thats on sick looking Fuego
QuoteDaiwa Sol on a St Croix Legend Tournament M/F, these were purchased from forum members 8-)Daiwa Fuego on an Avid MH/F
That's the sweetest Fuego I've ever seen.
QuoteThat's the sweetest Fuego I've ever seen.
Thanks. It's got a Zillion HLC spool, ceramic hybrid spool bearings, smooth-drag washers and an HSTA 4-bearing 90mm handle.
Curado 301D on Okuma 7'6"H and a little 3:16 to wet your whistle.
I'm glad I'm not the only one with cork that looks like it gets used regularly. I really need to clean mine up somehow. Some of the fillers have come out.
Chronarch 51mg on a custom spiral wrapped Alpster rod, 6'8" MH Shikari pitching BEAST. ;D
SBJ what kinda reel is that with the clear side cover? Is that an after-market part or did it come stock, seeing the gears is so sick! ;D

I think dirty ork gives rods character IMO.
And to fill in missing clumps of cork take a cork form a wine bottle and sand it down till there's nothing left. Then mix all the shavings with glue and fill in the cork.

Thats a Daiwa Alphas Ito Ai... very sweet reels... a little hard to keep looking reel good.. but they are light lure casting machines... And rock solid brutes that handle anything as long as lots of line cap. isnt needed...
I have 5-6 of them that I fish and a few new ones and love them all.. the fish like a pro and look pretty sweet to! they clear polycarbonate palm side plate looks pretty sick.
4 of mine have ABEC9's on the spools and 2 have Orange seal ABEC7's let me tell you with a those bearing upgrades on the right rod and right line they can get down really low in casting weight... ide say they pretty much bottom out around 3 to 3 1/2 grams...Also just to let you know they can be found for really good prices.. I bought 2X new in box ones for 395.00 for both (These are in the Reel display case never fished)... and dont think i paid over 180 for the others and all was in very good to mint condition... ones with some boat rash can be had 150ish... plus they just fit inside your hand so perfectly..

So it came with a clear side plate?
And have been eyeing some Daiwa Zillions.
Yep, it comes that way.
Ito is a pretty distinguished designer. If I am not confusing him with another, he also does (or did) work for Megabass on some of their cooler looking baits.
I have an Ito Pop Max that is just sick looking.
how much for that deps reel?
Some nice gear so far...

SoFla, what size braid are you using?
Spinning: 20lb braid w/8lb to 12lb fluoro or co-poly leader
Worm/Jig rod: 30lb braid w/12lb to 14lb fluoro leader
Flippin/Froggin: 40lb braid (I'll put a 14lb fluoro leader on if the cover is thinner)
General use: 40lb braid w/12lb to 14lb fluoro leader
I don't think you ever need anything heavier than that unless you are in some seriously nasty stuff.
Once I break down and buy a rod thats Heavy or Extra heavy, I'll probably stick 50-65 on that one. I learned my lesson at Okeechobee about needing at least one really stout rod.
Oh okay thanks I've been using 65# just for the safety of really never losing a rig, but I wanna downsize and didn't know whats about right. Does thinner line cast easier?
40 casts fine for me. You're probably fine with 65 to be totally honest. It's still a super thin diameter. I wouldn't go any lower than 30 on a casting reel though. It does dig in a hair.
great pics guys.
i use 20/6 powerpro w/ 6lb cxx leader on my spinning reel and 50/12 PP with 10lb cxx leader on casting. no problems here.
Nothing special as alot of guys here
The farthest baitcaster from the camera was my first baitcaster I got after I learned on one of my dads when I was 13....
the second was another baitcaster I got as a gift a few years ago because I stopped using baitcasters for some reason.... The curado I just bought..

I have not had a chance to use it yet but its lighter than the citica and curado, and i love the foam grips! I will post a review after i get a chance to use it.

Here's from the other day:
Hey, thanks, Russ, and yes, your work on your Fuego inspired me to do mine. I was happy with it already, but the supertuning with Orange seals, the Smoooth drag, and the 4 bearing Zillion handle all come together to make it my favorite reel. Paired up with a 7' med action Avid, and it's a pretty sweet combo. I like your new one, too!

How is that Fuego with light baits? I have been thinking about picking up another reel that can handle light baits well.
I can get pretty good distance with stuff in the 1/8th oz range, but it can launch 1/4 oz into orbit! The one thing I didn't do, is go with the Hyper Long Cast Spool, which would have made the lightest stuff even easier, but I'm happy with it as it is.
Ps- I should've mentioned it's spooled with 40lb Samurai Braid. Friggin' awesome!
QuoteHow is that Fuego with light baits? I have been thinking about picking up another reel that can handle light baits well.
My Fuego's are pretty jacked up, but I can toss a Pro-Senko on a 1/0 EWG hook 60' or-so. That Fuego is mounted on a LTB 7' "Teaser" rod and spooled with 12# Yo-Zuri Ultra-Soft.
For a most-excellent reel that can cast light baits extremely well right out-of-the-box, look at the Daiwa SOL. They are available for about $160 shipped right now on ebay. Killer deal.
My Sol's on an LTB 6'8" M/XF that is well suited to light baits

Let's keep this about showing off gear guys.
Here is what I got. I was bored been off today due to rain so that I would take a few pics of gear. The one pic is of my car and jon boat. I just got the trailer not to long ago from father n law and we installed a hitch and trailer light plug to car. So no more carrying the boat on top of car.
The pics not great but this is an Okuma Serrano I added to the collection yesterday. Got to use it the first time today and really liked it.

At the lake today.
Different variations of the photo, but they all have the guide which caught water in it and sealed it
QuoteHow do you like the gearing on it? It says 26 ipt and I usually prefer 28 and above.
It's plenty fast enough for me. I have a couple of Citica 200E's, the retrieve on them is 27 IPT so one inch less is no big deal.
With all these pictures of guys' gear, I figure Brett Favre will throw in here sometime too,
Here is my small arsenal
Looks like you are like me, I like my stuff to match. Easier to transition from one rig to the next.
NICE RIGS!!!!
How are you likin the Vendetta's?
I love the feel of mine, but the reel always comes loose on the hookset.
TY TY....I've been a fan of AG for yearrrrssss. I still have my fathers old Ambassadeur round reels, that I've cleaned up and have sitting in the top of my closet.
I LOVE my Vendettas!!!! I've horsed some nice 3's out of some thick hydrilla on 12lb mono and they've held up very very well. I've noticed I've had to snug the lock down, and give it another 1/3 to 1/4 turn to make sure that it stays seated, and I've had zero issues with it coming lose as you have had with yours.
QuoteHow are you likin the Vendetta's?I love the feel of mine, but the reel always comes loose on the hookset.
Try taking your reel off and loosening up the seat all the way. Wrap a little bit of teflon tape around the threads then put the reel back on. That should take care of your problem. Teflon tape can be bought at Lowe's, Ace, Home Depot, Marvin's...your local hardware store. Just tell them you need teflon tape for plumbing. 1/2in wide should suffice.
Here is the most recent pic I have of my most used bass rods. The lineup has been added to slightly in the six months since I took the pic. The Calcutta 50 is now on a 7' M Cumara for small cranks and the 7' Loomis now has a RevoSX for spinnerbaits. My favorite new addition for this year is also not in the pic........will try to add it later. Its a Loomis SWBR904 with a Calcutta 200TEDC that I use for throwing mostly Spro BBZ1 Jrs.
GL2/Calcutta 50 (small cranks/spinnerbaits), E21/CiticaE (larger cranks), St. Croix LTB Dropshot/Core50 (minnowbaits/topwaters/shakeyheads), Cumara/CuradoE (football jigs), Cumara/Stradic CI4 (dropshot), St. Croix Legend Elite/SustainFE (soft swimbaits), St. Croix LTB Dropshot/StradicFI (Shakeyheads), St. Croix LTW/StradicMgFB (small jigs)

I like it alot . I love the tierra rods, have 4 of them along with 2 team daiwa v rods(pretty much the same rod) paired with PQ's mostly. I use the procaster setup mainly for spinner baits. But its also really good for shallow/medium cranks.

x2. I had the loosening of the reel lock when I first started using it. I really tightened it down and I havent had an issue since. The teflon tape is a good suggestion as well.
