I used a drop shot rig with 8 lb test line and a red finesse worm to bring in this giant bass. It was on the line pulling drag for close to 3 minutes before I ever saw the fish. Make sure to set that drag!
I thought dropshot only caught dinks?? JK. Awesome fish man. That must have been a lot of fun on such light gear.
And the award for most relaxed fisherman on earth goes to...................Russe048!
Awesome fish! Congrats!
Amazing fish ... If I were filming there would have been a lot of profanities coming out of my mouth. LOL
Really nice. Gratz!!
awesome! Congrats.
Awesome fish and footage man and u were way to calm catching something of that magnitude HAWG certified!
Great video.... that's a big boy...
Congrats
Great stuff. "What a fish", cool hand Luke said!!
Man! I was yelling in excitement just watching the video! Great job!
Sweet fish man!!
Great job working that behemoth. Man, you are one patient dude. Many of us would lost that fish simply by over working it back to the boat. Congrats, now go change your avatar.
If you guys are wondering why he was so calm you should go check out his other youtube videos. Man knows how to catch the big gals.
Awesome fish by the way.
His channel makes me almost as envious as Butch Brown's videos. I don't count Brown's videos as reality though. I'm pretty sure he's fishing in some parallel universe where 50 pound bass are the big ones, and the teener's are dinks.
Congratulations ~ !
That's a very cool video of one Great Big Bass . . . .

Nice man...that thing's a monster!
Awesome Awesome fish!!! No way I would have been that calm!
Even knowing the outcome, I found myself holding my breath when you got the fish to the boat. Hooking a monster and landing it are two entirely different things, esp on light line. Well done!
Good job! That was a nice looking bass!
Wow dude! Glad you let that beauty live and didn't mount it.
Nice man! I always use drop shot rigs for toads, one of few.
Love it! Drop shotting is a top 3 technique for me. Catching one that size and capturing the moment on camera is just amazing. Thanks for the video!
Awesome fish, nice job
We'll classafy that one as a "reel" PIG!! nice job!!
Awesome fish!!!
I live in Gulf Shores how bout I take you to pier to saltwater fish and you take me bass fishing? lol
Check your pm
Holy smokes! What a fish, man! Time to update your avatar description with a new PB weight!!
Very nice fish! As some have said, you were cool as a cucumber. I guess when you've caught a few that big it's just another day fishing.
Epic. Thanks for the video and try to calm down next time. You were a little out of hand.

I'm willing to bet pretty good money he's caught bigger than 11 pounders...

Perhaps...
Great video, I could hear your heart beat faster as you saw that sow come into view for the first time!
Wow! Great fish! I caught my best of the weekend on a drop shot rig at just shy of 4 lbs, and I was nowhere near as calm, coaching my son to net him correctly. I can't imagine a bass nearly triple the size on that kind of light gear. You are one very, very cool customer.

Yes, yes, yes! If that had been me, the entire audio would have been bleeped out.
