Answer: Yes it is a live liner or a baitrunner bait teaser however you want to word it mine is the 6000 LL I have it spoiled with 30-lb braid are pears nice on my Penn battalion surf rod I hope that helped you out a little bit

Any suggestion as to what rod to get on a 8000c i usually fish in deep piers saltwater?

Answer: I personally like the Carnage rods by Penn. Depending on how deep the piers are and how large the fish youu are going after would be how much backbone the rod I would choose.

Answer: There’s a lot of great rods out there, but I’d recommend a 7-7.5 ft for an 8000. Bulls Bay rods and Cajun Rods are two of my favorites

Answer: Sorry, no idea. I just use the 3000 and 4000 series in the bays. I’ve matched those with a Penn rod as well.

Is the 6000 alright for a 10’6 rod?

Answer: It depends on what your using it for, it’s a big reel if your using it on a medium heavy or heavy action rod it’s great . I use it them on a 8ft medium heavy rod for catfish and a 12ft surf rod and they are perfect. But if you are using a 10ft noodle rod it would be way to big

Answer: Yes I got a 600 in a 9’ foot and it works good I can only imagine if you put it in a 10’6” you would cast even further

I just love my penn reel. I have 2 of the fierce lll reels. Both have different line for fishing. Their is nothing bad about these reels. Performance is second to none. Great for a beginner to pro. And the best part is with a flip of the switch it instantly becomes a live bate feeder.
