Answer: I am sure you could order it in a left-hand model. I have ordered Ambassadeurs for my grandfather left handed.

Can I load 200ft. Of 45lb. Lead core on my ambassador-6500lc reel?

Answer: I don't know. I use 20lb mono on this reel. Best to check with Abu Garcia. Sorry, wish I could help.

beautiful reel for 30# braid and 7-8 medium rod, okuma rods are a good buy

The reel was disappointing right out of the box with the cheapness I noticed. The line guide is plastic and the materials appear to be inferior . I was Leary of even trying to use for spring browns and returned it. I purchased an Okuma cold water reel instead .
