On average though I catch my bigger fish on jigs and spinnerbaits.
Zoom lizard- fluke - fluke -jig & craw - spinnerbaitsspinnerbaits
Fat fingered the spinnerbaits I guess
I just started serious bass fishing the last few years so my lures type kind of limited, all caught this year.
Zman chatterbait. White 7.7
Rapala Husky Jerk 08 ~5.8
Zoom super Fluke white 5
Jig n craw blake/blue 5
Zman PaddlerZ 4" on 1/10 jig shad 4.7
Siebert fogy bladebait GP 4.3
Interesting topic. The answers will be screwed some as not everyone fishes the same baits, has the same type of lakes, and enjoys the same types of techniques. Should be some diverse baits listed by everyone.
So if someone is posting their top 5 biggest bass and they are all on moving baits or all on plastics it may be that is their confidence bait or what they use 90% of the time.
I don't weigh my fish typicall so all I have is a measurement or two and some photos if I am lucky. Off the top of my head something like...
1. Zoom super fluke in Black
2. Berkley power lizard in some sort of purple with flake
3. Topwater frog
4. Zoom Money hound
5. Jig
I fish hardbaits far less than most, especially cranks and spinnerbaits/blades jigs. So 90% of the time I am tossing a jig, some sort of plastic bait or a topwater.
1. Jitterbug 5/8 ounce
2. Green pumpkin senko
3. Jig and craw 3/8 ounce
4. Zoom super hog

Biggest ive caught was on a river2sea spittin wa. Then i lost it on the next cast into a tree. About 2 years ago. I still see the frog hanging everytime i go back
For the 5 largest 9- or 10-pounders, a 3/8ths chartreuse spinnerbait with 3" or 4" chartreuse trailer, usually with sparkles. I fish them on top, on the bottom, in laydowns, in submerged timber, fast, slow, everywhere, especially in the thick pads. I've lost some too or bent them up too much to straighten.
In the over-8 range I've had the most luck with 10" black worms and floating crankbaits, some with rattles, mostly gray with chartreuse stripes or marks.

It was this color but it was the 4400.
It has a larger lip and the edges are beveled or shaved looking.
I have a couple others but they dont seems to dive as straight or as deep.
I tried to bend the line tie on a couple but that didnt seem to get it right.
