Brands most used 2024

fishing user avatarthinkingredneck reply :

I find myself buying from the same companies a lot.  I am the type who will experiment with several common brands and then settle down.  My favorites right now are:

Rods: St Croix

Reels:  Pfluger or the discontinued BPS Viper

Lines:  Braid-Power Pro,  Fluro-Seaguar, Mono-Mustad or Maxon

Leader :  Yozuri Hybrid or Maxon Chameleon

Hooks-Gamakatsu

Soft Plastics:  Zoom is my #1, but I use a lot of brands here.  Rage tail, Yum, Z man, Culprit, Berkley

Jigs-  not enough experience to judge

Hard baits- Rapala

if your local store would stock only one brand in each category, and you got to pick what they carried, what brands would you pick?

I've got no problem there as it is what it is.

Just can't afford to let the Bait Monkey know there's actually a few I've missed or left out . . . . .
