Went down to Florida for a couple days this past week to fish with a couple good buddies of mine from here on BR. Dwight Hottle and Robert (SouthFLA) of Hawg Tech. We fished a mixture of lakes, reservoirs and canals and whacked em good! I mean really! Mostly topwater which makes it even more fun! Put the new Curado I through its paces as well. Ended up catching between 25-30 fish a day per person with some big ones mixed in.
Big Cavitron fish! ( Shout out to Bobby with Megastrike!! )
Bullet in the grass....
Dwight's Girls:
And last but not least, this fish was weighed and released, but I want to have a little fun with it. What do you think this one weighed?

Can I guess?

No! There are 4 people on here that cannot guess. Dwight Hottle, A-Jay, Brian Needham and Redline Robert! At least until page 5!
Jeff
Jeff,
Nice fish man! Isn't it amazing the size and quantity of bass these little canals hold!! I guess 8.8 pounds on the big one!
9.0lbs
Great fish man!
9.4 lbs?
uh wow! That just looks amazing. What a tank. Between 9 - 10 pounds. What a trip! Regardless of the fishes weight, the whole thing looks like the typically amazingly proportioned bass everyone dreams of. Awesome fish bud
6 and change is my guess
What bodies of water did you hit?
Hard to tell with it quartering away but looks 10+ to me
8.11
Nice fish regardless and nice pics you guys really got into some quality fish it looks like, can't wait to see the other guys fish as well
Let me ask you this, are any fish in the other pictures under6?
I'm going with 10.2 That fish is awesome!
Great fish guys! I'll go with 9.9 on the big girl
some fine blubber fellas!! weight = 8-8oz
sounds and looks like a great "warm up" trip for a month from now!
Just for reference this is an 8 something.
The bass in that bottom picture looks like he could make a light snack out of this one
Man those are ALL huge!
Sounds like a great time! Sweet boat, too, whoever's that is! I'm gonna have to go with a click over a dime for the guess the weight fish, at 10-1. Awesome job, guys!
10-4
Nice fish guys! Jeff I always want to guess high on fish and then try to back off. I'll go with a conservative 8-14. (But I really want it to be over 9)
Im gonna say 9-12.
Nice fish fellas.

9.2
I don't know...but what an awesome fish!
DD
who cares on the weights, nice fish all around!!!
OK, well to update this, all fish are over 5lbs, except maybe 1 of the canal fish. The biggie went 7lbs 15oz. I knew that deceiving pic would get most everyone, and even we thought it was bigger. But to quote the bearded one, " A scale never lies!"
Jeff
Hey, it's true.
Best way to make a 5lb fish a 3lb fish is to put it on a scale.
Dang who would of thought! Besides SPEED anyways!
Some nice hawgs!

36-24-36 that fish was 5'3"! Baby got gut!
Will take pictures for food & tackle. I'm a cheap hire.
I had a great time fishing with you Jeff, the top-water BITE was insane. For everyone's information, he had two come unbuttoned that could have given the big fish a run for her money.
Jeff what kind of hooks are you using???
I can send you some Owners if you would like.
Spro poppin frogs use Gama hooks. Just the way it goes with frog fishin there Needham.
