What is the braid capacity for the 5000 and 7000 size?

Can the 7000 go on a10 foot pole?

Answer: I have the 5000 reel if you know anything about carp rods they're very thin I have mine on a 9-ft carp rod and it works fine with that setup. the one you want to buy the 7000 on a 10 ft American type of rod like a ugly stick or something I think it would be fine in my opinion

Mohawk Mike : Loose Rear Drag Dial - Awesome Customer Service

I previously had a below average experience with a baitcaster reel and rod from this manufacturer and pretty much swore off trying their products again. I was in the market for another live liner so I decided to give this brand another chance. Third time's the charm, right? Well.....

Out of the box, this reel looks very nice and the overall construction gives a good first impression. The bail arm is thick and proportionate to the 5000 size body and the colors are reminiscent of the Daiwa BG line. The live liner switch engages and disengages as expected and it is an overall smooth reel. The oval style rocker arm grip is comfortable in my hand as I intend to use this for ocean pier fishing.

Where if falls short is the rear drag knob. Out of the box, I could hear a loose part and once I got the arm locked down, I found the source of the noise. The rear drag or live liner knob is loose. Regardless of letting all the drag out or taking it in, the knob remains loose. I have a live liner from another brand and this is not the case with that.

For the price point, it's a decent reel. Without taking into account the price, the build is just above average. The reel (real) test will be on the pier and hopefully hooking up on a fish. For now, the rating stands based on build and will update once I see this reel in action.

Sougayilang customer service reached out to me to address the issues I had with this reel and we had a great conversation about the shortcoming of the reel. They received the feedback very well and we worked out an exchange. I decided to put this on my main rod. I took the rig out to the ocean pier yesterday and it performed very well against a sand bar bass and a 12 inch halibut. Got a few other bites but no hookset and the live liner feature worked as expected.

If Chinese weapons are built as well as these reels are I pray we never go to war. I have two and I’m more than pleased with them. The rear drag system works great for both live or cut bait on a C rig or tighten it a bit and you can use them for trolling. Great product. I have two of their small 1000 size reels also I use for light tackle fishing. I liked their products so much I tried some lures. The lures needed better hooks but are great for the price. Great company with great products and deals. I’ll continue buying from this company with the unpronounceable name lol.

I have Abu, Lew's, Daiwa, Shimano spinning reels and this product's quality is the same as those products priced over 200 bucks. I am surprised with the functions and price of this reel. It has both front and rear drag with a very smooth lever. I recommend this product and hope have more in the future. I do not try it in the water and will write review again.
