What is the braid capacity for the 5000 and 7000 size?

Can the 7000 go on a10 foot pole?

Answer: I have the 5000 reel if you know anything about carp rods they're very thin I have mine on a 9-ft carp rod and it works fine with that setup. the one you want to buy the 7000 on a 10 ft American type of rod like a ugly stick or something I think it would be fine in my opinion

So this reel is solid feeling has a great drag, good smooth feel to the movement, and casts for days.

This will be used regularly for BIG flathead in the 30-50lb range or better, and will likely also wind up on the surf casting rod for ocean trips.

It should easily handle small tuna, and definitely California halibut.

Ovaltine Jenkins : Amazing product! This is a $200 value product but only 40 bucks!

I have Abu, Lew's, Daiwa, Shimano spinning reels and this product's quality is the same as those products priced over 200 bucks. I am surprised with the functions and price of this reel. It has both front and rear drag with a very smooth lever. I recommend this product and hope have more in the future. I do not try it in the water and will write review again.
