Answer: It did come with the nut but I do not know if it fits 3000. It didn’t fit the real I bought it for the shaft was to short.

Cristian Liani : Should have not gone cheap

The handle broke on a 2lb fish on the first day of using it. Not giving it 1 star because I should have known better. Gets the job done if youre fishing for little fish. It broke on the joint where it bends for storage. Plastic peice snapped. Was still able to reel the fish in.

It is not what it was advertised, I ordered it with the reels numbers and it said it was the one, but it is nowhere close to what I need.
And they delayed the shipment date 3 times !!!!!!!!!

This is the absolute cheapest handle you can buy. Bought it for a junk reel but didn't fit properly. had to modify and then the end cap fell off while reeling.
Just go for the next cheapest up.

I was able to modify this to fit my ol Zebco which I had broken the handle on.
Overall, I like the big thumb spinner for the handle. This works well after the modification. I would explain, but there are several different setups possible depending on your rod.
