Answer: I've used it for freshwater and saltwater and I've had no issues with rust. However, particularly with saltwater, I washed, wiped and oiled it up too after it sat in my tackle bag for a few days

How many yards of 20lb test can u put on the 6000?

Answer: Regular Tess I’d say around 200yrds it’s rates the 6000 at 300yrds for. 20lb on the 6000. An I have it set up with 60lb braided at about 200yrds with room to spar on the reel.

The instant anti-reverse works well. It is very smooth. I bought it for saltwater and surf as well as occasional catfish fishing and it seems to hold up to these.
