Answer: I believe that the main difference is the amount of line that each reel will hold. I also believe that these reels are primarily for fresh water. These seem to be very well made reels, I have six of these and and have been very satisfied with them. GL

Answer: it all depends on the test of the line and type of line you use I use 60 lb power pro and I can put 150 yrds of line on

Answer: Same issue here, but was resolved by tightening the star dial drag. Seems they are packaged with the drag very light. Hope that helps. Great reels.

I use 20 pound test on my current salmon trolling level wind reels....how many yards of 20 pound test line can one expect to put on the model 27?

Answer: The line capacity chart indicates that 210 yards of 20 lb. mono will fit on a 27LCB. FYI: I use 30/10 braided on mine. Jim S.

Line counter is a joke on the accudepths. Bought three and one okuma. After trolling on the weekends for a few months, the line counters have failed on two of the three. pressing the reset button does nothing. The third is starting to go bad. Will be replacing them with Okuma Coldwater reels.
