Can't give an informed review on this reel as I have not used it yet. First impression though is that it feels solid but not sure how it will handle saltwater. Also the drag is not smooth at all and I hope after use it will break in better. Finally got to use these reels. Bought two and both did not work. Both reels would not engage the gears to real in line that was let out. Seems odd that two reels would not work from same issue. I am an experienced fisherman and know how to operate them
