I ordered 2 of the of the Gomexus, 2 Daiwa, and 5 of the Lichifit power cords to compare the various brands and have some extras on hand. In general the cords last about 2 years if I don't misplace them. I have some that I mount to a plug that fits my down rigger power source and I also leave some with the battery clips. I've only had these for a few weeks, but I have high hopes they will last longer. The Lichifit cord was the only one that uses tin coated wire. I've cut the ends of the Daiwa cord after a couple of years and the copper is corroded.
