Answer: 8lb mono is 220 yds 20lb braid is 220 yds Probably with that thin of diameter braid with a backing you could get 300yds easy.

Reel looks good . Light . Must remove one washer No.46 to have line even sit on reel. With wahser front of reel was empty and bach overloaded.
One complaint to seller for sending open box reel for regular price. Nothing missing in box , reel looks not used, but not accurate packed inside, someone's hair inside. I tested reel couple days on water ,working ok, so decided do not to send for exchange.

It’s so smooth out of the box, immediately spooled it with 20lb braid I had around and grabbed my shimano rod, went out and started casting, drag feels good and strong, the reel is lightweight with great casting.
Always happy to buy something from Kastking, been fishing for years and I really like the quality and reliability.

The reel is light weight and solid feeling. The retrieve is nicely paced, and the line is laid on the spool very evenly. Casting is excellent - especially for a spool of this relatively small size.
However, I find the bail arm a little stiff to open and close. It does not close easily on cranking the winding arm - a fault common to many reels - but my Pflueger 2500 is much better in this regard. Overall, a very nice reel at a decent price.
Note: having used this for a couple of sessions the bale has loosened up quite well. Upgrading to 5 stars. Very nice product.
