I think the soft jerkbait is a great bait, what is your favorite one and why? I have been using the Zoom and a Gambler, but that is just because those are what i bought. for the pre-spawn i want to make sure i have a good one, give me some suggestions.
Zoom flukes, jrs, magnums and super flukes. I like white pearl, baby bass and chattruse have a bags of each size and color listed. In the jrs and supers i have pink and few other colors as well
Super Flukes - I used White Pearl, Albino, Arkansas Shiner.
I have tried to use other soft jerk baits but I have always come back to Zoom super flukes. This year I'm going to try out the regular flukes and see how they do. I've had much success with the watermelon color variations. I also have the shad colors and albino, but I haven't caught anything on those yet, just watermelon seed.
Super flukes is all I use now, never had much luck with jr's.
Watermelon seed and baby bass do it for me.

River Rock Baits Jointed jerk or Lunker City Slug-O.
Have tried most of the soft baits but keep coming back to the Sluggo. It works the best for me.
Super flukes and slugos. Those are all I ever use.
Manns shadow ,sluggo ,bassassasin, zoom s fluke all work i buy on clearance if i can plastics last forever
Really like the bass assassins as well as sluggos, though I use the super flukes more than any others. They flat out rock.
I had great success today with Zoom fluke pearl/chart tail. Caught 3, 2lb bass in about an hour today.
How are you rigging them?
I rig mine weightless with a 4/O EWG. Throw it on a 7' MH rod with Baitcaster unless it is windy, then spinning rod.
I saw on TV last night flukes being used on a drop shot with a lot of rod movement, really looked enticing.
Fluke Watermelon Neon
Slug-Gos without a doubt.
Powerbait Realistix Jerk shad in Watermelon Pearl rigged on a 3/0 or 4/0 VMC Fastgrip wide gap hook.
Zoom super fluke. Cheap and good color selection
What he said^^^
Bass assassin 5" albino shad
Try putting some of these on your soft jerkbait. They last a lot longer.
