Does anyone like Berkley PowerBaits or Frenzy 2024

I am very fond of some of the Berkley products. I use their worms(7" and 10") and their grubs(3"). I use very dark colors for worms and for grubs I use white, black and pumpkinseed. I've used them both for a long time and I've been very happy with them.

I use power worms all the time. I've caught more bass on these than any other worm.

I dont use the frenzy baits.

I use the 4" power worms because they float real good, especially on drop shot. Then the frenzy popper works great, it flies like a bullet to.

I have a frenzy crankbait that has caught bass, bowfin and some large florida gar. The finish is becoming chipped a little but that is mostly from gar teeth I think. I have caught a few bass on the frenzy popper as well.

If I'm gonna t-rig a worm (w/ weight) for dragging across the bottom, I'll always grab a powerbait ribbon tail. I feel like the stink in them (I think that's the technical term ) helps the bass hold on for a second or two longer. Maybe it's just a confidence thing.

i like the powerbait pumpkin seed worms and redshad. I have some frenzys but i never use them so i dont know if they work lol but as for the powerbait i like it. And i think its a good deal for the price they arent expensive

I USE POWERBAIT 7" WORMS IN WATERMELON AND RED SHAD WITH GREAT SUCCESS.

I'VE ALSO HAD GOOD LUCK WITH FRENZY DIVERS. THEY CAST LIKE A BULLET. TODAY I PICKED UP A COUPLE FRENZY FLICKER SHAD (CHARTREUSE PEARL & SHAD) I'LL TRY THEM TOMORROW.

I have never bought a bag of powerbait. I just dont see why i should, its not like they are unique, and i have good luck with what i use. Im looking into buying some power hawgs and beasts, however.

its caught me a wide range of species, bass, northern pike, walleye, even chanel catfish!

I think the term you're looking for is 'stank'.

I like the 3" power grubs in white. Mainly because they're about the only grubs the tackle shops around here stock.

Berkley Powerbait worms work great for the price and are worth every penny, they last longer then all GYCB worms easyly but dont have as much finese to them.

Its sort of like some of the dumb dumbs on here who think crankbaits from say Rapala arent good anymore because hey theres Lucky Craft. Too bad 90% of those same guys I wouldnt pick to catch more fish using there Lucky Craft then say me or anyone else who has been in this sport 10 or more years using a normal grub :

The bait is only half the battle if that..

If it works use em, I know those Berkley Powerbaits work! Do I like em? Do I buy them? No, only because im extremely picky with what I use but just because I dont use them now or anyone for that matter doesnt mean their trash. If you have the money and are on a budget buy them.

Seriously though...I have some power worms and I don't like them very much. I also have some Frenzy jerkbaits that are decent.

I do not like the frenzy lures at all, berkely has some really good stuff, i really like the berkely bungeee hawg lures, they have caught me many big bass, and i just bought their crawfish lures, they look like they will catch some bass but have not used them yet

I fish 7 inch motoroil and black and blue flecks only, any other 7 inch or smaller is different brand.....ie culprits, zoom, gene Larew.

10 in power worms, Used to buy the 100 count bags when you could find them.

From late June-sept, its pretty much the main diet they see.

while i dont use a lot of the berkley worms i do like the powerworms. the 10 inch is good. my son almost always uses a 4 or 7 inch powerworm either splitshot or t-rigged and sometimes he outfishes both me and my wife (as far as numbers go). the all black 7 inch powerworm has caught a lot of fish for him, and for me, and is one of the worms ill throw when the bite is slow at night.

they are not my favorite worms but i do like them in certain situations.

my son insists that they call them power worms because they have magic powers (he is only 3)

how can you go wrong with a worm that has magical powers,

I have a deep diving berkly crank, a lipless crank in fire tiger and a top water popper. I don't fish them very much at all. I do like the lipless crank and have caught a few on that one before and will use it from time to time.

I have a pack of the Bungee worms that I was given. I don't think I've ever used them. I have ordered a 100 count pack of 10" power worms in Tequila Sunrise. After reading the reviews in this thread, I'll be interested to try out the power worms when they come in.

When I want to fish a worm, I grab a Power worm. I use BPS finesse binder bags for all my soft plastics, and I have one stuffed full of Power worms and craws. Nothing else in that one. I guess we know what I think.

Power worms work- they are the number one selling worm for a reason. I also like the Frenzy crankbaits, and throw them mostly when the water temp is in the 50's. They have a tight, erratic wiggle that seems to excel in cold water. The Frenzy crankbaits go on sale for $1.99 a few times a year, and I think that is an exceptional value for a scale-textured bait with glass eyes. They catch fish, too

Good feedback on the soft plastics. I need a little more input on the Frenzy crank baits though. The reason I ask is because I am reading the book by Kieth Jones PhD who has studied bass for 16 years at Berkley. I am just curious whether or not he was able to develop an effective bait from all his research. Thanx guys.

I use some berkley Powerbait worms with good success. I really have done well with the Frenzy divers. Late last season I picked up some Frenzy Flicker Shad lures and did pretty good. This season I hope to give them alot more work.

Power worm in Tequila Sunrise has been money for me. Bought a bag when I first started fishing a couple of years ago and my son and I have been catching fish on ever since. I bought a Frenzy Ratlr crankbait in the bargain bin and eventually lost it. I didn't think it was anything special and have been buying Rat-L-Traps since.

However, I have a couple of deep diving minnows by Frenzy that I like. They got some recognition at either a Bass or Walleye tournament (you'll see it on the packaging). I caught some bass on them and like they run to 11 feet deep. I am going to try for some walleye this year.

I like their soft plastics but I always thought the Frenzys looked pretty strange but I never really tried em. I read an article or saw a thing on TV where Ike used them with a lot of success in some tournament or another but that doesn't really mean much...

Powerbait worms 7 and 10 inch work great.

BungeePowerbait Hawgs and Power Hawgs work well too.

Frenzy lipless crankbaits have worked well for me in the past, especially the previous models of bluegill and baby bass. Their newer models, despite their more realistic hues have not been as succesful for me...

I've got some frenzy cranks but I've never used them.

I've got some frenzy firestick minnow jerkbaits and have added to the collection. I've caught fish withem.

Powerbait worms are great. While I don't use them specifically, Bass do tend to grab hold of those worms and hold on.

Oh, and I tip my crappie jigs with crappie nibbles when the crappie are hitting kinda light. They seem to bite the jig a little more aggresively.

I think Berkley Powerbait soft plastics are amazing. They are probably the most advanced and proven soft plastics manufactuers in the market.
