Where can I buy spare spools?

Answer: Not that I could find, but witjlt them being aluminum they are strong, well made,I've used this reel for over a year now amd have had no problems and I fish a ton, I understand you proly want to spool up an extra spool for a different line class but at this cheap of a price buy another one

What is the line capacity

Answer: I spooled my reel with #2 lb test mono line and probably have about 150-200 yds of line. It’s more than enough for UL fishing.

Answer: Depending on what pound line capacity you use. It should tell you how many yards on your spool.

Does it have a 1 way clutch?

Answer: Yes it’s for antiback lash

does this reel have instant anti reverse

Answer: It does have the small lever on the bottom of the reel to stop the line from going out. Switch it, and the reel can back reel line out.

First time out of the box fishing for crappie and the real is smooth but has a very bad squeak when reeling. It still works well but the noise is a little aggravating. Especially on the first trip out with it.

This reel is made durable, its smooth, and looks fantastic, solis bail trip,anodized aluminum spool, 12+1 ball bearing ,if i had to guess this reel would cost around $80-$90 if it were a popular name brand this is the 1000 size il be using for panfishing drag is smooth just turning the spool by hand, can't wait to get it out on the water, ive had years of sporting good sales experience and fishing ,i know a good product when i see one, you wont be disappointed in any way

The Zissou : You get what you pay for.

Not a bad reel, but not fantastic either. The reel seat is plastic construction, the spool and bail are aluminum, but the “12+1” bearings are awfully rough.

All it all, not a bad reel for $14, but it’s a $14 reel. It just doesn’t compare with high-dollar reels. It’s still a perfect replacement for the cheap Dock Demon reel.

Bought this for my wife and on our first trip she pulled a 20 rainbow out of an Andean lake here in Colombia.
Seems to be well made for the price. l like the wooden grip. l teamed this up with a nice Toasis rod and 10 lb test Stren clear Mono ( Probably 4-6 lb would be a better match)
