It's strong and smooth as butter! In female but with this reel I can throw a mile across the lake(feels like a mile) rewinding is the same. Handles big fish and turtles.

I was impressed with these reels at first considering the price, even ordered 2 more at the selling price. However, after using one of them for a while, I have found that when fighting a sizeable fish, the reel handle tends to fold up, as the locking pin does not seem to fit well into it's slot. Have had this happen 3 times. It is quite concerning, since it could possibly result in a lost fish. I changed the problem reel out with another to see if the problem is with just one or all of them. We will see.
