Answer: I Purchased the largest reel to be used with a 12' Daiwa bait surf pole for bigger fishes. The size of the reel will depend on size of the pole you use. Also the size of the line your putting in. Bigger reels can handle more line and bigger lbs. Test lines for bigger fish.

Ordered this reel for my son as a Christmas gift. He liked it and couldn't wait to try it and tried it couple of days. later caught a bonefish with no problem. The real was working great till I caught 2 fish. The side that controls the tension on the handle broke off and is now unusable. This was my first time fishing with my new reel. I didn’t expect greatness from an $80 reel but I did expect it to out last my cheap $40 dollar reel.

This is fake. This isn’t the real verison. Beware. This isn’t the Korea brand named Daiwa. When I got this, the Brand was named Diwa. Not the real version. This verison wasn’t as good to the real verison Daiwa.
