Answer: Yes its good. Even I buy it when my shimano fail and really happy for now. Mostly I use it for trolling and bottom fishing at Tampa bay

Can it be used for surf fishing

Answer: Yes but it can't easily be cast except short distances. The line can be fed out with the tide. Spin cast reels mostly work best for surf fishing.

Answer: No, not really. It is more and I use this reel for bottom fishing in the gulf.

Answer: Yes it can be used for any casting you need to be sure you have a heavy pole as to handle the weight

Looks good but DON'T waste your money. I bought two. And the reel drag broke on both of them. I only had them for two weeks

This reel is very smooth operating and feels like fine jewelry in your hands. Quality is much better than I expected at this price. I always service my equipment before using it... even if it is new. I would suggest doing that for any reel. Very happy with mine.

Hi the product works great but unfortunetly it only lasts this summer for fishing the chrome bearing bolt in the ens went loose I tried to put a new one on the treads are bad is no longer good so invest another $100 or what not on a American reel insteed that's my thout check out my insta for my kayak fishing carrillo.est.83
