The Mach 1 Speed Spin reel is a good all-purpose reel and features a lightweight yet rugged graphite body, skeletal C40 carbon rotor and smooth 10-bearing system. The stainless steel bail is strong and balanced. The spool is double anodized ported knurled aluminum. Pinion gear is precision-cut solid brass. Zero Reverse anti-reverse is rock solid and reliable. Gear ratio is high-speed 6.2:1 that is appropriate for a broad range of fishing applications. The reel has an oversized multi-disc drag system to deliver a smooth and reliable performance. The fold-down anodized aluminum handle is fitted with a Lew’s Combat Grip knob.

Is this good for casting light weight ?

Answer: Depending on what you call light? I use 4lb crappie line and cast 1/16th jigs for crappie with mine on a 5’ rod

What are the size? 1000? 2000?

Answer: The 6 is the 100 the 8 is the 200 and the 10 is the 300

Answer: The Mach 1 or Mach 2 have no such numbers, you would be referring to the Tournament TLC series they are expensive, but nice Reels

How to switch the handle from right hand to left hand on mh300a reel?

Answer: The instructions are in the paperwork that comes with the reel. On the side opposite the Handel is a cover which is the nut. Just loosen it and the handle can be switched.

Can you use for saltwater fishing

Answer: You can use it in Salt as long as you properly care for it afterwards, I it not built solely as a Saltwater Reel

The handle keeps coming off and my grandson has lost it now can I buy just the handle

Answer: Yes it is.
