I fish for big blue catfish in the Mississippi river. You need a good surf reel to be able to get that distance where they bed. This is the reel for you with the right line Kastking your casting this with no effort 2 country miles.

It works and casts well but the knob is cheap plastic and the bearing in it already wore out after two months. Thus the knob is now super wobbly. Also, i'm having trouble finding the replacement parts

I bought one caught a big sting ray and the reel stop working during the fight it didnt lock it was spinning back in the Opposite direction I was fighting the reel and the stingrays I would .not buy this product again

This reel is the biggest one I've ever had and I am going to use this reel for my halibut and salmon fishing. I didn't get a chance to catch one but the reel looks pretty strong and good quality. It has capacity label for both lb and mm which is sweet. The handle is big and smooth. Highly recommend it!
