Answer: Depends on wat size reel u choose this piscifun reel comes n many sizes I use 4000 for carp and channel cats and spool 15lbs mono with about 200 yards of line I also have a 5000 for flatheads with 30 lbs mono and about 180-200 yards of line ……, I love this reel smooth and powerful way better than kast king sharky…. Sharky has drag problems or at least mine does

I just received this reel and was way better than had originally anticipated. There is no play in the Handel or spool asymbley. The bait clicker feature is way louder than any of the over priced reels on the market with the same features. Tons of drag for landing them big fish. I definitely will buy another reel and wouldn't hesitate to buy any of the other reels they make as well .

If you really want a good quality reel from one of the major brands, you are going to have to drop a few hundred bucks per reel. At this price point, this reel is considered more of a budget reel but it still gets the job done. I got the 6000 series and it is massive and will handle any freshwater or salt water fish between 10–30 pounds. If you are targeting fish smaller than 10 pounds like bass, grouper, or snapper, I would get one of their smaller reels since it weighs less and will be easier to use for long periods of time. I consider the quality of this reel good and find it to be easy to use and smooth. You can make it both right handed and left-handed. Would recommend.

Sorry to say the handle broke off before I even used it one time. It seemed like a nice reel but the stem that holds the handle on needs more beef before I would consider buying it again.

I just received the Piscifun Carnivore baitfeeder in the 6000 size. I will be using this reel to target large catfish and sturgeon primarily and I can’t wait to get to try it out. I especially like that it included two bobbins for line so I can have one set with monofilament in the 20-30lb range and also another with 60lb braid. I own several other baitfeeder spinning reels and I believe the line clicker on this one is a bit louder than other comparable models. With greater than 26lbs of drag this reel should definitely have the power necessary to stop a good run from a large fish. When spooling the reel up with line the components all looked to be of high quality and the reel spins nice and freely. The drag and bait feeders were both smooth and worked as they were expected to. I will admit I am partial to the color and thought the black/red combo is a sleek looking design. I live in the northern part of the country so it will be a few months before I get to really test this reel out to its fullest. I will revise this review if I notice anything different but the reel passed every test I could give it in the shop.
