Quantum engineered a larger 35.5 mm spool into a very compact frame to provide anglers plenty of line capacity, longer casts, and more inches of line pick-up with every turn of the handle. However spool size becomes somewhat irrelevant without a top-notch braking system, so Quantum performed a tremendous amount of engineering research to develop an ACS 4.0 cast control that is lighter in weight which minimizes the amount of energy it takes to get the spool spinning on a cast.

What is the line capacity for braided line

Answer: Quantum website, along with package materials, state 210 yards of 30 pound test braided line. Remember you shouldn't put ONLY braid on the spool - it often slips on the arbor. It is best to put a few yards of monofilament, then attach the braid. A blood knot works great for this. The mono will grip the arbor, preventing the braid from slipping around on the spool.

What’s the drag on this

The reel in the picture is a 7:3:1 but the headline says it’s a 8:1:1 which one is it?

Answer: I noticed that also when I ordered one no more than 8 weeks ago. The photo is typically a "stock image" thing they don't pay as close of attention to as they should. I doubt this particular seller has any real knowledge - it's just a part # to them. I got an XPT (8.1:1) when mine was delivered.
