the drag on this reel is good enough for 4 pound test. very smooth drag system. the grip is a foam eva type which is nice. its a smooth little reel. the handle is extra long which is kinda funky, but nice to. dose not feel like a 30 dollar reel. im buying 3 more to put on my 200$ phenix rods.
cons.
little wiggle in the handle not bad but there. finish on reel is not the best. bail has to be flipped down by hand. not the lightest but not heavy either.
