got the reel, looked decent. Three hours into fishing day after it came in mail, anti reverse broke on a snag. Why make a big game reel if its just going to break on big game? honestly a joke. Makes me not want to buy penn ever again

The reel came missing the spool cap. Penn came thru and hooked me up with the part. The anti-reverse also didn't work. Penn couldn't help me with that. Apparently it's a common problem with this line of reels. I managed to fix the reel using parts from a damaged vintage reel. It needs a little help to fill the whole spool with line, but it casts well so far. Caught couple fish with it at the beach, so after the initial headache I can't complain too much anymore.
