If someone has use this reel. Can you help me with the best pole for it ? An what is the the biggest fish you you've coat on that setup. Thanks

Answer: I have a ninja dagger 11' rod. Haven't had a whole lot of use but I'm sure you cant go wrong with it but it really depends on the size reel you have. The Spinfisher LC is heavy so a 5500 and 11' rod seem like a good match but if you have larger size look for larger or heavier rods to balance them out. People also really like the tsunami air wave elite, St Croix Mojo surf, Bass pro shop Ocean master rod, and anything from tackle/jigging world in the appropriate size with all serve you well.

Answer: It is not easy to answer this question since reel companies do not use a universal sizing standard. I would suggest you go to a local store that sells Penn reels and look at the various sizes of any type Penn to see the relative size of the 5500. I use it for surf fishing on an 11 ft. rod if that helps.

Answer: No, the LC reels have a wider spool. You need to use the spool that specific by Penn for the model LC reel you are using.
