Will it drop 4mm ice jigs down or do you still have to help it down by hand?

Answer: I use mainly 3mm jigs. Tungsten of coarse. 4's drop ok. If you allow it to drop slowly into a school it normally gets eaten on the way down

How much line fits on the reel?

Answer: I don't have the exact number but if you have too much on and the reel, when it backlash it will create a birds nest. I normally ice fish 25 feet or less and I still have plenty of line left. hope this help

Is it ledt hand right hand changeable?

Answer: No it’s not. You have to get the correct hand.

Answer: It is in the description "2.7:1" meaning or each revolution of the handle the spool rotates 2.7 times.

I think this would make a great bow reel . How many feet of 100 lb line will fit on the spool ?

Answer: This reel is too light for bow fishing. It is designed for light line ice fishing. It holds about 150 yds of 4# test.

How many pounds of drag does it have?

Answer: Hard to say, never measured it. Come to think of it, I have no idea how many pounds of drag any reel I own has. My best answer is that you can catch 14” crappie on 2 pound test without running them out too much, and still giving them plenty of fight. Hope this helps.

This reel is great for filling your rod tube. I recommend getting better for ur more used combos but other than that it is a very solid reel.

After reading the many positive reviews for this reel, I figured I couldn't go wrong. Well, I DID go wrong. The reel is extremely sloppy and cluncky. There is just too much play in the gears, so much so, you physically need to hold the spool while jigging. This reel will be going back. If I couldn't return it, I would honestly just give it away and place with a higher quality reel.

Decent reel.... low quality, the gear teeth were dented and the reel would bind on each rotation, had to file the teeth down and now it functions properly. For the price not bad it worked well for ice fishing.

These inline reels have a long way to go before serious fisherman start using them. The handle and cranking gears seem smooth enough for the price point and the idea of the inline reel has its merits for many applications and species of fish. The 2.7:1 gear ration is acceptable for bringing in big fish but you do run the risk of slack line if you can't keep up with a fish turning direction and swimming towards you. I had a 34" Lake Trout and several smaller ones do this. Normally my spinning reels help me keep up but I was not able to keep up on the inline reel. Where this particular reel (and nearly all brands/models on the market) fail is in the drag system. The drag is terrible. Just awful. Super jumpy and the star drag may auto-loosen when set at moderate or light drag levels. Use your money on a cheap spinning reel.

I only ever use spinning reels all year round, but for ice fishing season this year I thought I’d switch it up.
I love the free fall release on this reel
And I also love how straight the line comes off the reel, no more watching fishing line coils going down my hole????????
I highly recommend an inline reel for ice fishing.
The descent and eagle claw are both good inexpensive reels, I’m a right handed and love that 13 fishing made a right handed model at this price point????????

Good reel for the price. A little play in the instant anti reverse but pretty good. Freespool works well as does the drag. Slightly larger than a similar Pscifun reel I have on my trout / perch rod and will go on my pike/walleye rod. Happy with the reel so far.

I tried to like this reel. I was never able to find my groove and just fish with it. It's just not for me.

That being said... There is nothing wrong with this reel. It's me and what I'm used to. I let a couple of my friends try it. One of them was able to use it without any problems. I let him have it. He uses it often. That's why it still gets five stars.
